Anybody else watching the auction on the speed channel??? I just enjoy looking at those restorations..... Better than a car show....

Ya gotta take your hat off to the guy that's riding that thing. You can see the learning curve he went thru from the start to the finish of the clip. "To the moon Alice"......!!!

I've had that problem in the past too. Ya hafta keep 'm seperated. Anytime you put two similar items together and ignore them for a while...they WILL reproduce.... Great story....!! :)

Nice Scoot!! I think you've got a lot of people here on the board looking at that extra trunk and thinkin'..... Includin' me.... Oh yeah... you can stay.... -
Got it. Thanks Mike.... For anyone interested, we still have 4 days before wrapping up the order. See the first post in this thread for the info for the group buy.

Klaus, here's a pic of the PiggyBacker Axle under the springs. Eck, by flipping the axle Klaus is saying to turn the axle over and place it between the frame and spring instead of below the spring. Hope this helps.

You may be right Ken, but I think it's something left over from the days when there were no ignition switches. I just can't think of an emergency situation where one would come into play.???

Thanks Neil. That's a great tid bit of information. I've posed this question several years ago and didn't get any responses. The problem was I couldn't see good enough to figure out what...or if anything... was down inside that hole in the knob. I had a hard time finding a phillips that would fit, and I have a lot of them. What I did find that would fit was a small slotted screwdriver with a tapered tip. With it I could get a bite on something, and unscrewed what ever is in there?? When I finally did get the screw out it was as you said. I small phillips with a lot of dirt packed in the cross hatch..

Check with Baker. They may have something... -
ROTFLMAO.... I could see where this story was going half way thru. That's why I always use the kill switch. It's part of the starting check list. Started using it right after the same thing happened to me, and..... probably every one on this board.... Another thing is using it keeps the dirt and corrosion off the contacts. A dirty switch will drive you nuts....

An Odyssey BUMP and a report. For anyone thinking about ordering an Odyssey, we're down to the last 6 days before placing the group buy order. We have more than enough members who have committed and already paid. Thanks. For those on the list who haven't sent in their payment, now would be a good time. If getting an email invoice from paypal would make it any easier, I can do that too. Just PM me your email address, and I'll get'r done.

Dang!! A veritable heat wave.... My father-in-law was stationed at the AFB Goose Bay Lab., and one night the guys were out on the lake ice fishing. They couldn't figure out why they had to keep skimming the ice out of the hole all night long. Next morning they got the overnight temps. -54F!! You keep the fire lit Oz....

One of many......

Eck- The problem is that the area that needs to be repaired has to be kept as thin as possible, or the L hinge bracket and trunk support will not fit afterwards. That's why I'm going to stick with the more pliable glass matt. Metal screen would be a good idea if the damage were located somewhere else, but it's right underneath all the metal plates and front supports. On one side the damage actually takes in the corner of the leading edge.

Can't fool me, that was done with mirrors.........

Now if we could locate a black cargo box like those used on the Piggy Backer it would be a winnner.....
