There are several western style Colt copies that come out of Italy that are very nice. They've come a long way in the last 40 years. If you get a chance take a look at the Uberti's and pietta's. I just picked up a Navy Arms Stoeger-Uberti 22/22 mag Combo because I didn't have one and always wanted one. Navy Arms was the first company to start importing Colt copies years ago. As far as the moving targets.... Just makes it more challenging.. :-)

That sorta reminds me of an old adage. How much money do you want to make?? Answer: $5 bucks more than I can spend... So morphing that a bit. How much ammo do you need?? Answer: One more round than I can shoot.... As I get older my brain wanders a bit.... :-)

Holy cr@p it sounds like half the board is on a c-pap machine.... I'm turning 7 in a couple of months... I don't use the first digit any longer 'cause it's depressing... But so far I'm sleeping pretty d@mn good. Wake up once in the middle of the night to pee and every once in a while I do get in an all-nighter... I feel pretty fortunate I don't have to deal with apnea...

They did mention going to a heavier oil if temps were warmer. And good to know about using synthetics... The Duramax's are built here in Kalifornia, but who knows where the motor may have come from?? It could be made here, but if it came from China it wouldn't surprise me... According to the warantee card it has a born on date of Nov'17 so it's not old technology. Some of the stuff coming out of China lately is pretty good... I'll probably go with the T6 15-40 right from the git-go. Chances of ever changing it in my lifetime are nil and none... :-) Thanks for all the feedback...

Duramax sez in their hype that with gas (8 gals) it will last 10 hours at half load. With LP Gal? 20. They didn't give the lbs or gals on the LP but thinking they were talking about one of those BBQ LP bottles. At least that's what they were showing in their pics... Was yours a duel fuel or straight LP?? The one thing I liked about the LP is it doesn't go bad over time, and there isn't any internal fouling like we get with gas or diesel... With diesel on larger sailboats we are always having problems with old onboard diesel storage...

Nope, not trying to start another oil thread. I just picked up a duel fuel Duramax 12000watt 'Beast' electric start Generator. It's brand new and it came boxed without oil in the 18hp air-cooled motor... The manual sez to use 30wt in one area and 10-30wt in another. I'm thinking since they don't know for sure, if Rotella T6 Synthetic in maybe a 15-40 might be a better choice. I also plan on using LP so I won't have to baby sit the thing like when using gas. Between the Rotella and the LP it should last for a very long time. Ok I may need to make sure the battery is charged, but still wouldn't need to start it unless needed, and it does also have a recoil starter.. I figure youse guys up in the white country would have more experience than us over on the left coast??? So T6 or 10-30 dino??

Who said he was action shooting?? I bet he burns up a lot of 22 ammo when messing around.... Plus... he's representing a Henry plinker. Why would Henry have him show a larger cowboy action rifle when they're advertising the 22 lever??

I can only speak for Kalifornia. Not sure how any other state would handle it???

Over the years like everything else I get into I'm ending up a decent little collection of Didgeridoos. Last week I picked up another one out of an auction for 6 bucks 'cause no one knew what the 'H' it was, and it was sorta ugly. It was just listed as an 'item', but you could tell it was old and an original. I just got thru sanding and hitting it with it's first coat of clear. Anyone else besides me and Aussie Annie that knows about them of even has one?? I can play one with a few squeaks, whistles, and pops tossed in, but nothing like these folks. I could listen to this stuff for hours..... :-)

AMEN!!!!! That would be really cool.... Hmmm a bike designated as a trailer, makes me think you could mount a tongue on the front of a Harley and it'd feel right at home. I don't see why not?? It only has two wheels.... just mounted differently... :think:

In California it's considered a trailer... just attached differently... and so does Geico so no increase in premium.., and in that regard a MC indorsement on your drivers license isn't needed when riding a Voyager Trike Kit because the DMV thinks it's a trike... Just like a 3 wheel conversion.. Life's too short to get our knickers in a twist about terminology.

What Carl said plus a couple of the primaries could be plugged. Sea Foam.. Idle inrichment valve will keep'r running, and as soon as you hit the throttle two of the cylinders are no go. On the clutch, I'd change the oil and bleed the clutch...

Just about every one here has them. The style is a personal preference... Kuryakyn has a number of choices... And yes they will mount on the crash bar without whittling...

Did all that with both the internal Chrome cleaner and CCleaner. No help until the cyber Gods from Google Chrome step in and everything started working again.

LOL Lots of things you might want.... Getting them over the boarder might be a problem... Heck, getting them into California is just as bad I bet... For all those who actually took the time to read this thing, for some reason I received an automatic Chrome update and everything is good again... For about 4 hours this morning I had to go thru withdrawal...

Yeah, I did too... I just receive a notice on my phone that I'd received a Chrome Fast and Secure Update. And the app is now working. So I'm just guessing that the FUBAR was Chrome's... I'll keep checking tho 'cause all 3 devises had the same problem. Phone, I-Pad, and Desktop.... Heck there's some things I wanted to bid on...

I'm having trouble accessing some sites, and this whole things seemed to have started when Chrome started that non-voluntary filter blocker. This sight and my own come thru great, but any auction sites get locked up in a time out after trying to establish a sucure connection.... I've tried a couple of things like turning the pop up blocker off in advanced settings, and allowing cookies. So far nada... Also some but not all graphics will not download. Any ideas?? I bought a pair of Caldwell Noise Canceling Earmuffs. It's very freaky talking to another person and not hear the rifle go off... They do have limitations tho-.. When at the range with a lot of guns going off you can only hear about every fifth word.... Then ear plugs are good...

Something everyone might take into consideration is the ethanol in the fuel. Ever since they decided that 15% was better than 10% my gas mileage went to hell in a hand basket on the truck. It will probably effect the RSV's as well.... Haven't had the '07 out in a long while but I bet it ain't gonna get 47 mpg any longer...
