  1. Nope, just the front lowers....
  2. Yep, I googled Michael Paul Smith, and the cars from what I can gather are those from Franklin, but.... the gist of most of the google hits were about his photography, and for that he's amazing. http://www.boingboing.net/2010/02/02/fantastic-photograph.html And I guess if he bought the models they were his. I didn't see anywhere where he claimed to have made them.....
  3. Had to do a little digging, but see if this'll work... href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/24796741@N05/sets/72157604247242338/show/with/2346008881/" title="Photos of my models" target="_blank">Photos of my modelsa>

  10. Yep, I remember that thread. Like already posted, a poor mans K&N. Nice job. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=41382
  11. Yeah, me too.... Ditto.
  12. OK, I thought he might have been talking about reserve covers... Wadda I know....
  13. I run an HP Photosmart C4450 all-in-one... no fax because I never use it... Does a dynamite job scaning, coping, and printing. Since I don't print on a daily basis one black cartridge will last a year and the color will last about two. Bought it at Sam's for $60 bucks. Cartridges are a little pricy, but I don't care because I don't buy them very often, and only one at a time. It seems every time I buy a bunch of ink the printer craps out and I go printer shopping, and have all these NOS cartridges laying around. I'm really pleased with the print and scan quality of the HP. Years ago I bought a used HP500 laser..$4000 new.. for $500 bucks that had no options at all. It printed in B&W only and one font, but it did it very well. Lasted about 4 years til the feed mechanism wore out. Afterwords I started buying anything I could find that was cheap. I figure at the price of these printers nowadays it's almost easier to buy one a year and when the ink runs out throw it away and buy a newer one since the replacement ink cost more than the printer. But I ramble....
  14. Trying to figure out what covers you're talking about John?? If they are for the reserves post a pic of what style you have.... 2ndGen?..1stGen?...or something else...
  15. The PSA is a good way to detect PC, but it's not absolute. My PSA rose to 9 something about 5 years ago, and we decided to keep an eye on it with 6 month blood tests. It went back down to 6 and then rose up into the 13 area. That's when they decided to do the biopsy. No cancer was detected with the bio. The rise in PSA is attributed to an enlarged prostate which is quite common in men over 50. I still have the yearly PSA test, sometimes more often if the opertunity arises, but feel a lot less aprehensive about the PSA level. While in Cody Kurt's (Starstruck) father was dying of PC and his PSA level was up in the 300 range.
  16. It called pattina....
  17. Yeah, put me on the list too. Gawd, I love group buys.....
  18. I've always been curious as to why anyone would need MKI bag liners?? I guess they'd be great if all you packed were clothing. I don't know about anyone else, but that's not generally the case with tool rolls, covers, patch kits, first aid kits, cleaning equipment, etc.... and even if you can get one of the bags packed with pure clothing, the saddles are removable and made to be carried like a suitcase into a motel room. On the MKII, although the saddles don't come off, a couple of smaller duffles that fit over the top of the 'stash' might be put to better use. Having a bag that's cut to fit just doesn't make sense....
  19. Yep, been on and off the site a couple of times in the last hour and have not picked up the listing in my active history. However, if you find that it's harmless and resizes the pic width so we don't need to go 'student body right', I'm all for it.... can't stand those huge posted pics... and can live with the double click..
  20. Yeah, because of where I find it it's two click for me as well....
  21. OK, for lack of a better name that's all I could think of to call it. When I visit VR.org I pick up this website in the browsing history http://img121.imagehacks.info/img121/10 It doesn't take me anywhere when I try to go to it, can't get any properties info on it, and it only shows up when I visit VR.org. I'm a little concerned because of the 'hacks'. Anyone know what's going on?? Could we have some sort of crawler working the site?? I see it when I want to go back several pages and use the hot list to the right of the forward/back arrows.
  22. My fishing buddy is undergoing radiation treatment right now for prostrate cancer. I guess they implanted some gold pellets near the cancer target and it gives them something to aim at. The only draw back is he has to cover his belly button at night or the light keeps him awake....
  23. Man, am I glad my '98 Suburban has the 5.7 Vortec in it. 21mpg highway, and about 17-18 around town....
  24. When you're setting the CC make sure your clutch lever is all the way out.....maybe??
  25. Register it as a homemade. Every state is different, and I think in Nevada you own the plates and they stay with you when you sell the vehicle. At least that's the way it is with cars...maybe trailers are different??? If they gave you the paper work to register as a homemade, go for it. Have a freind give you a bill of sale for used tires, and lights for $50 bucks. Take that with the form an get a plate. They may issue you a new VIN number to be stamped in the frame....
