    Best thing you could do is find another MKI trunk and be done with it. And.... I just went out and checked and I have a trunk off my '83VR up in the rafters. I replaced it with one that was a little nicer cosmetically. I didn't look at it all that closely, and can't remembrer what the blems were, but if you're interested PM me and I'll take a closer look.

    I have that same problem every once in a while. On my plasma there are 3 different settings. Two for screen size and one for resolution. Once you have the right resolution.. 720P..1080i/p set on the cable box there's nothing more you can do in that area. TV screen aspect should be set to Full, and there's also a zoom setting that give you normal...zoom 1... zoom 2... zoom 3. That's the one that I fiddle with. Usually zoom 2, but every so often I have to set it to Z1 when the 'box' is partially hidden. So there ya go. You're all set for next year.....

    Ditto on the Deka... Free shipping from Bohannon, so it's $85 bucks to your door. It's going on 3 years since I put a Deka in the '83 and it's still going strong. I just went out and fired up the '99 after sitting for 2-3 very cold wet months and she fired right up. Hands down the best battery I've used so far.

    Holy Ratfeathers!!! Mom nature sure turned up the heat. 77degs this afternoon. Checked on Miss Piggy... Yep, she's still there. Fired her up without any low batt problems... Deka batt in case anyone's interested, and it's been 2 1/2 months since the last time she'd run. And the radio/audio came on when I turned the key. Added a little Sea Foam and let her run for about a half hour. Fan cycled several times.

    Looks like a TD with aftermarket trunk and bat wings to me.... Being a 2001 it still has the lower hp motor.

    Well Don, I guess I'm just a thrifty kind of guy and base value of needs... like safety chrome... over that of wants, and since I'm not rolling in bucks I pehaps tend to look at things a little differently then you do. This aftermarket equipment thing can get addictive. Call me cheap if you want, but I'll always look for the bargain, and I'll always value utility over status. If all I'm going to achieve is a higher limiter with the Dyna 3000 I think I'll pass, and if I hadn't got into a set of exhausts for a third of retail, or the new KnN's for a song, I wouldn't have been able to afford them. I always base a purchase on what it will do for money spent. I'm not saying that's where everyone should be, but that's where I am.

    OK, so I guess from what your saying the Dyna 3000, the KnN's, and the exhaust are a waste of money since they don't do anything???

    Ok lets put performance on the back burner, and leave the V-Max gears on the shelf for the time being.... Which would be the best bang for the buck???

    Only 19000 on a CT tire?? I thought one of the big reasons for going to the CT was better milage?? Seems to me your CT isn't getting much more than a good touring MC tire....

    OK, let's throw some more fuel on the fire. From a performance standpoint, what would be a better up grade, the Dyna 3000.... or freeflow intake filters and aftermarket straight thru exhaust??
