But just to let everyone know that when my number is drawn there will be a trailer for sale immediatly afterwards.... Now excepting offers.... Attached are a couple of pics of the new 2011 model. Check ,m out...

I wonder just how long the chomed wheels will last before starting to flake?? I've never dealt with wheels, but have been dealing with billet bling that was flaking. I had them stripped and polished. Looks just like chrome, but if you want black your SOL.... It seems like chromed aluminum looks great when it's first done, but for some reason seperation and flaking are common. Attached are a couple of pics of polished aluminum. I didn't do this,,, it was commercially done.

Just curious... Will Sea Foam cause any problems after a tank's been relined??

I've bought several refurbished cameras and GPS's off WOOT and they have all been great, and in like new condition. I've also picked up some nice Invicta Watches for a song. One of the nice things about WOOT is the shipping. $5 bucks and it doesn't make any difference if the item is a set of ear plugs or a set of box springs and matress... I've always been pleased with what I've gotten. BTW the NUVI is a 2010 model, and at what looks like a great price.... That's another thing, I have priced checked a few of their items, and they are always the cheapest... :cody

$10 bucks a gallon wouldn't stop me. What would stop me is no gas available. Just think how much less traffic we'd have to deal with if it were $10 per. However it will never get that high. The ramifications of something like that happening would be catastrophic. But, I did buy two Diamond Backs last week....

That really looks interesting. Might be worth testing it on a small junker piece of chromed plastic to see how many 24hr. dip-rinse cycles it takes.

Brake upgrade to R1/R6 calipers?
Condor replied to kbert777's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
On a '90 it's a plug and play with the R1/R6 calipers. They can be picked up off Ebay for $40-$50 bucks in nice condition. That set I mounted on my '83 I think I picked up for $25 plus shipping ran it up to $40. The last set I picked up came with stainless lines. On the MKII's ('86-'93) it's a simple straight acrossed swap out. The MKI's ('83-'85) are a little more involved. -
The covers are a Star Accessory that has been discontinued. A lot of the accessories are going that way... I'm not sure, but I think a lot of that stuff was designed and made by Yamaha USA. Another sign that the RSV will be sailing off into the sunset.... I have seen them listed on Ebay but they are rare.

My '98 Suburban has a 40 gallon tank.....

Do the same ride in a car and tell me about the cost. I think that if gas goes higher just the reverse is going to happen, and we're gonna ride more..not less. Wallet pain doesn't get in the picture. Even at a lot more per gallon. Not unless we wanna sit on the porch and not go anywhere..... In '07 I rode to Ft Collins and the round trip fuel cost was around $150 bucks, and the price per gallon was just about the same as it is now.... maybe a little more?? In '09 I trailered the bike to Cody, and even though the price of fuel was a less, it still ran around $500 bucks round trip in the truck. This year I'm riding to Cody.... :cody

What size LED's did you buy?? I just checked Superbright and they have bulbs from 9 Led's to 30. I want to be bright, but I don't want to vaporize the guy behind me...
-
OK, Thanks for the info. Looks like I'll be good to go.

This may have been discussed before, so sorry for the redundency if it has. But.... if I add LED replacements for the 1157 and 1156 bulbs on the trailer, will I have a problem with the turn signal breaker working properly?? Do they make a HD breaker like they use on tow vehicles when hauling a trailer....?? Otherwise they blink way to fast...

Autometer puts out a Pro-Cycle 2 5/8's Tach that looks good, and it's already made to works with any ignition. I'm putting one on the '99RSV. http://procycle.autometer.com/img/products/19304_d.jpg

Had to go to the Y USA page to see what everyone was talking about. The reason I didn't know what they were is the previous owner had already removed them..... or they didn't come on the '99 to begin with... The term Eye Brows sorta threw me. Ida called them accents...

Just did a Google on and got a lot of hits. Here's one, but I'm sure they all have good info. http://www.footsmart.com/healthcondition.aspx?ailmentid=106

OK, I see what's going on here. Even thouigh Y has the 1300 listed on their 2011 website, if you look at the top of the page it's actually of a 2009 model and color. The blue 'S' is the only option for a 2011. That said I still have never seen one, and all the pictures are photo shopped. It's still a myth.....
