  1. Here's a pic of the cabins from Cody'09. Lots of BS happening from what I hear.... :cody
  2. I really like that....... Enjoy the ride!!......
  3. That link is for the Battery Tender 021-0128 Battery Tender Plus 12V charger. You didn't mention that in your first post... The one you mentioned was the Jr., and at .75 amps you'd better pack a lunch..
  4. A battery tender will not charge a battery.... period.. If your battery has been getting progressively worse then you need to check the charging circut to make sure it's putting out around 14.2 vdc. If it isn't it could be the stator or the rectifier. If it is putting out it's time to replace the batt.
  5. I guesss if they can call the BMW K1200LT a sports tourer, the shoe fits....
  6. Double check your plug wire leads and firing order You may have crossed a couple at the coil end.

  8. Been a PGR supporter for a number of years now, and get all the notices. Can't do a ride because I become a blubbering mess at funerals.... God bless those who can do this and can still function....

  11. Used the stuff in my '83. Ran to Ft Collins in 100+ temps and the motor ran right under redline. Bought some wetter from the local Napa Dealer down from the Moose Lodge and on the way back it ran 3-4 needle widths under redline, and the temps were even hotter on the way home. I now use it everytime I flush the systems. A little bit of this is supposed to go a long way. Probably a couple of ozs. in the radiator, and a blurp in the overflow. I'm sold on it.
  12. Don't forget the T-Shirts. They are only going to be available to those who pre-register. Although, I think Dave will be bringing a few extra but if you want them in your size and color you need to get your order in. Otherwise you take your chances... I might also mention that trailer raffle ticket sales are on going until the 300 tickets are sold. The best way to make sure you're in on the action is buy them before 7/1. Over half the tickets have been sold, and there's still 80+ days left til the rally.
  13. The Mather kinda throws me... We have a Mather up here near Rancho Cordova, but it's not anywhere near Yosemite. If you're comeing out of Glendale there are a bunch of back roads starting with Hwy65 north of Bakersfield toward Porterville. Then it's a matter of picking your way north on the back roads, or if you're in a hurry take Hwy41 out of Fresno. GLENDALETOYOSEMITE

  21. Today must be the day for kid braggin'. Things have been busy around here lately. Three of the newest additions to the GGK section. They were all born within 5 months of each other. All the mom's and dad's... plus one aunt... are our Grandkids...
  22. Yep... The first one is always special..... Congrats!!
  23. I'd adjust the peg lower. On a 1stGen with your feet placed back, the toe will naturally point down, and make it very uncomfortable trying to shift up through the gears with a high peg, and short stroke a shift.. You should be able to rotate your arch on the foot peg and shift. If you have to lift your foot off the foot peg it's way to high. Put the bike on the center stand and sit in the saddle with your foot comfortably on the foot peg. Take note where the shift peg is sitting and adjust it down to where it sits about 1/4"-1/2" above your boot top. I bet you won't be short stroking the shift any longer...
