  1. It just disappears somewhere between his computor and his ISP. He's contacted his ISP and they say they see nothing wrong. That's why I think it's in his OUTLOOK programing. I initially thought it might be me except I receive his ISP email.
  2. New email too....
  3. I thought of that and did a lot of stuff like having Vic delete my address out of his book and then re-enter it. All 4 of them..... None of them worked except when using his ISP mailer. It's in his program somewhere. AND I don't know what release he has?? Maybe he'll chime in here???
  4. Lone Eagle and I have had this email problem for several months now and haven't been able to figure out what causes it. I can send or forward emails to Vic, and he receives them just fine, but when he tries to reply using OUTLOOK..not Outlook Express.. the reply disappears into cyber space. He can go to his ISP email account and send me a copy email and I get it.. no problem. So it seems to be a problem somewhere between his local OUTLOOK program and his ISP, and it's a PITA. BTW all other email addresses go through fine. Does anyone know what might cause this?? I thought I might be on the 'bad guy' list, but he's checked that out, and I'm not. I use Outlook Express, and don't have a clue about Outlook controlls.
  5. Have you looked at the Nolan flips? The 102N in 2xl might be worth a peek.... It's an older style. I think Nolan accidently threw out the 2xl mold on the newer styles as they run 2 sizes under normal. I have 3 of the 100N's in 2xl, and they fit great. Not so the 1002lite in 2xl. BRAIN SQUEEZE!!!!!
  6. In '09 I rode the '83 over BearTooth Pass and it didn't miss a beat.... 11,000 feet
  7. Nothing like a good old reverse bleed......
  8. I guess so. When I went to your link and poked around I found a listing that said the attachment was an accessory. Now I can't find it.
  9. It comes with the mount Carl, but the attachment is sold seperatly.... Looking at the bars it looks like there isn't any room left to mount a clamp. I think that's why Kuryakyn designed the tank door system. I bought one of those grill mounts and it looked like if you hit a hard pot hole you'd be missing a couple of bars in that grill and maybe the GPS. So I retired it to the 'stuff' box....
  10. Kuryakyn makes a fuel cover mount for Harleys. Kinda pricy, but looks good. There's one on Ebay # 250820671343 http://i.ebayimg.com/00/$(KGrHqJ,!g4E2eSfR,RoBNwgv36SQg~~_12.JPG Also found this one # 180667730573 http://i.ebayimg.com/00/$(KGrHqYOKnME2eJzG-P-BN0GuIQjqw~~_12.JPG Looks like the same one only cheaper...
  11. Since you don't want to hear anyone but the group, crank it up.
  12. Hate to differ with you Goose, and I don't want to get into a pissing contest, but what I posted stands. I've been messing with CB radios for damn near 50 years... know a little about atmospheric skip, running illegal linears, and trucking. Normal CB transmissions are line of sight, to the horizon. Buildings will effect performance. You say it has a problem, I don't. Let's leave it at that.
  13. A lot of truckers run bi-linears to boost signal... RX.. and transmit a stronger TX. The squelch is there to eliminate background 'earth' noise. Getting rid of the truck chatter by turning the squelch up will not help when trying to communicate up and down the highway any distance. CB is line of sight transmission to the horizon. Buildings, mountains, a truck in front of you will kill your signal. Take you CB to a 'quite' place and turn it up till the background disappears and add one more. That's where you need to leave it. I know it's a PITA when trying to listen to the audio, but you need to do one or the other. If you wnat to do both do exactely what you are doing, but don't expect any response to your radio checks. They can hear you, but you won't be able to hear them. On a group ride turn it all the way up to just listen to the group. Sounds like your radio is working fine....
  14. Yeah, but you're young..er.... and employed. Beside's I'd have to do both. You only need to travel to one.... so lemme see. Me.. 2400 + 2400=4800. plus 1100 +1100= 2200. Total 7,000 miles. You.. 0+0=0 plus 1620 + 1620=3240. Total 3240 However my old age logic is kinda 'fuzzy'....
  15. Oh yes you can....
  16. Hmmmm?? 2400 miles = 4X600 mile days to get there, plus another 4X600 mile days to get back, plus $500 bucks in fuel. For 3 days to BS and eat free ice cream?? If I were closer I'd be there, however I think I'll really 'Cowboy Up' and go to the CODY Dairy Queen.....
  17. Actually contents falls under you homeowners or renters policy.
  18. You might very well have a pluged Compensator (??) valve on the back side of the master. With the rear brake not working and front OK you weren't missing much in braking power. Get in there and crack the banjo at the valve to see if fluid is coming out of the valve. If none, it's plugged.
  19. Dang!! Don't feel alone Rick. I didn't know about it either. If I wanted to do a multi I'd open the reply in another tab and then copy and paste.
  20. And I still live there.... Hadda Wadda burger once. Zzzzz!!... Use to grab burgers at the original drive thru in El Monte back in high school, and #2 out in Azusa when going to JC, and I think it's still there. Two rows of cars would be lined up 10 deep all day long. They didn't have tables.
  21. If the washer came with several different nozzles it may take a different type for the solution pick-up to work.... Ask Delta Rat about that....
  22. With all the talk about a 'Chilli Challenge', I think the group of 'Cabineers' should plan a chilli cook off for Monday evening, and invite all the 'Skyliners' to be judges.....
  23. Leave it be Gary.... Go ride....
  24. Sure. Just remove the ignition cover and loosen the nuts. Then lift the riser and rotated where ever you want. There is also some adjustment of the grips by loosening the nut at the top of the riser. There's a write up on the progressive install in the tech section. You should have run across this when investigating the Progressive Springs. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=505
