The load would be marginal, but you might want to make sure the tire load rating will handle it.. Even tho the axel is 3500gvw the tires may el cheepos and under rated. Personally I'd go with the tandem and have plenty of fudge factor...

Ever tried to pick up an RSV??? They probably tossed the trailer in the bed of a pickup....
-
Well is was locked.... I just hope they don't get to prying on them to get inside and get the coupler open and then abandone it somewhere. Plus they are going to have a biatch of a time wiring it up. The wiring color code on that thing is in a world all it's own.

Yeah.... I'm not sure if the fine print is going to get in the way either. I think when I registered it with the insurance company they said it's covered completely, but we'll see.

I just posted the info on Craigslist and the Pashnit Board. That should cut down on the possible palces the perp can unload it.... Also the theft report is in with the CHP. Hopefully it'll turn up in the next 48 hrs. One nice thing is it's very unique for this area. Probably the only one in norcal.

Dad gum it!!!! Got up around 3am and the trailer was gone. Someone stoled it. I took a ride around the neighborhood just in case some kid didn't run it a few houses down and dump it. Nothing. It's insured...I think?? It's registered under the '99's policy, but wasn't attached. So we'll see. Pisses me off....

I vaguely remember trying one of those soldering irons with the carbon tip and powered by a couple of AA batteries... I think?? You could solder something and then grab the tip and it was cool to the touch. The one I got didn't work all the well so stowed it away somewhere.... Found it [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Cold-Heat-20128CH-ColdHeat-Soldering/dp/B000RWCRAM]Amazon.com: ColdHeat Classic Soldering Tool: Home Improvement@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/21F2TqSuuyL.@@AMEPARAM@@21F2TqSuuyL[/ame]

As already stated the Jason Mod doesn't do a thing for performance, but I'm going to do it anyway.. I like the lope. Otherwise the bike sounds like a machine gun. On the mpg, new plugs and a Sync will help. Running Sea Foam has a tendency to foul plugs, and running it for the entire trip I'm surprised you got that good of mileage. Sea Foam will also cut into the mpg as it's less volatile and reduces the burn rate of the gas when used in large quantities. Last year I pulled a trailer to Cody and got 25-26mpg. Reg/no Sea Foam. Dropped the trailer and took a day ride to Shell Falls Wy. Got 40mpg on two tanks. So the trailer does take it's toll, especially on a motor that doesn't come on until over 3000rpm. BTW I ran in 4th gear over the Sierra Nevadas, and 5th on the slab thru Nevada/Utah/Wyo, and it didn't make any difference in gas comsumption...

For years I used to stay at the Center Motel on the strip. It was a small motel sandwiched between the old driving range and a larger hotel. But alas they tore it down and I think?? built the Belagio on top of it. The last time the wife and I were there we stayed at the Monte Carlo. Nice rooms..reasonably priced... and since it, and the Belagio, are owned by Winn they had a monorail connecting the two hotels. They're also within walking distance of NY..NY, the Luxor. and MGM. and others.

It's still done that way. The SIL owns a drywall company in Idaho. They are considered a sub-contractor and usually bid the job by the sqft. No contractor pays a sub by the hour. They've done a lot of those huge celibrity estates in Sun Valley. Right now they are over in Pocatello rocking new schools.

I sat on BigBob's while in Cody. Like Freebird said it ain't for the horizontally challenged. There just isn't any room for the knees. Plus getting off wasn't very graceful.

My son-in-law is in drywall. Drywall is a little different from an hourly wage employee. They get paid by the square foot. About .10-.20 cents depending on the size of the job. So each sheet is worth about $3.20 to $6.40 installed. He's good, and with my two grandson's can put up 50-100 sheets a day. That said, never pay an hourly wage to someone who is not experienced in construction. Pay them by the job and only when it's completed.

I think Ruger made a Blackhawk that chambered 30 carbine, to combo with the MI military 30 carbine. There are a few lever action rifles that are chambered for 44 mag to combo with a lot of 44 mag side arms. Probably 357 combos out there too.....

That must be one heck of a big plate.....

emissions valve relocation, Help!
Condor replied to Dave3's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
OK I see it.... Another possibility is remove the valve completely. FreeBird has a write up on blocking it...and I think removing it in the tech section....- 10 replies
