I've purchased several items from them, and have always received good service. Kudos on the last transaction. I bought a carb set off eBay thru them, and when it arrived it wasn't anywhere near their item description with missing brackets and parts. Supposedly off a running bike. No way Jose'.... Called them about the problem and they sent me another really nice set, and told me to keep the first set. Now I have a complete set of diaphragms for when the time comes.... Buying from them thru eBay may be a different story than buying direct?? But will buy from them again....

The pic ain't too bad, but the refresh rate sucks..... Looks like 1 frame per second. But hey, it's better than nothin' and only $15 bucks. Yesterdays breakfast cost me $20.....

When I went to a 2ndGen I felt just the opposite. The 1st was much more responsive, which I attribute to the difference between a frame mount vs. a fork mount fairing. The 2nd handled like a truck. Nick named my '99 'Miss Piggy'. Having a light feel is not normal in my opinion..... E3/150 from the git-go...

One helmet year round. Nolan Ncom103. It's a flip face. The only problem I've had with one is my ears hurting like 'H' going over Bear Tooth Pass and forgetting to close the vents. It was a bit chilly... Changed the windscreen to a 10" tinted. In the summer it's OK, but during the winter...when I hardly ride... one a bit taller would be better. Plus on long rides a shorty gets a little tiresome from the head on buffeting. May go to something a little taller??

You may not want to use ether on a diesel. WD40 will work.....

Nope, just somewhere to park the trailers that are filled with things I'll need some day.... I just bought another 7x14 trailer to house the three 2ndGens, and then had a brain storm and moved everything in the 8x16 into 7x14, which gave me a lot more room to mess around. I bought some carpet in an auction a couple of years ago and decided to use it. Here are some pics. No pic of the finished product but you get the idea....

Yep, I got tired just watching them work..... Less than 4 hrs from start to finish... they were hustling.

As long as a diesel is getting fuel, it'll run... It may have lost it's prime from siting. Crack an injector open and turn it over. If it eventually starts spitting fuel it should be good to go. It'll run rough at fist until the rest of the cylinders kick in.

Probably has something to do with your area. 3" patios and 5" garage floors are fairly standard around here. So?? How thick are your slabs??

The rebar is elevated. Once the cement is poured they lift it and it stays elevated somewhere in the middle. The rock in the mix keep it from falling. With a 5" depth that thing isn't going anywhere in your and my lifetime..... Frankly Charlotte, after that I really don't give a damn....

I've never spent so much money so quickly since the last time I went to Vegas. I contracted for a 24'x36' cement slab/patio. The crew arrived at 8:30a and by noon the job was leveled, compacted, formed, rebar'd, pored, and in the finishing stage.... Four man crew, and they had to dig up a 5" high side to level it. We were planning on doing it ourselves, but after watching a bit I realized having someone younger was the best move.... Now I have a better place to store stuff.....

One of our old time members Fred Vogt made a tool for adjusting the idle screws that was really neat. He took a flat 1/4"x 1 1/4"x 3/16"ID knurled washer/disc and tapped the hole to 1/4x20. Then took one of those no shoulder screw drivers with the shaft being close to the diameter of the idle screw opening, and cut the tip about 2" long and threaded that. Put them together with a little loc-tight, and it made a dandy idle screw adjustment tool. He even marked the face of the disc in order to keep track of the turns....

They gotta buy them from a manufacture somewhere. Maybe China?? I just bought a set of those long horn mounts off ebay to take a look at them. They haven't arrived yet, but any day now. If you need them quickly this isn't the place to pick them up. Wish they made them out of Stainless.....

The orange Stainless is due to the part being cast out of 304 SS rather than marine grade 316 SS. OOOO steel wool should clean it right up. The 'triple' chrome probably didn't have the copper nickel base plating??

Get a dremel and cut the clamp..... They're cheap, and a new one will make you feel better...

That's the beauty part of those adaptor brackets. They open up a whole 'nother world of muffler options for the 2ndGens, from stock Harley to after markets....

Luckily I don't have to travel to Nebraska to find great BBQ. I ordered the half rack at our favorite watering hole, and when I went to pick up a rib the meat stayed on the plate. Saint Louis Style. The first time we ate there the skirts were left on and it was like getting a whole rack. Texas Style. It's like a box of BBQ... You never know what you're going to get??...... But always awesome.... Starting to drool now.

I'm an old gun guy. Which means I have a lot of guns, but don't shoot anymore. However, when on a trip, be it car or bike, I do carry, ....and I don't have a CCW. I think of it as I would a parachute, or life raft. You hope you never need to use it, but when you do it's nice to have one onboard.... The 12/6 is a great motto....

Besides the no lights, you mentioned it doesn't set. Most of these CC's will set if you push and hold the set button for a count of five,....or push it twice.

Most have motors. Depending on size, anywhere from a 2hp kicker outboard to larger diesel inboards. There's one sailor and his wife who have sailed all over the world without any sort of power. Lin and Larry Pardey.

Anywhere from low to high 20's. Believe me hitting 28 knots on water is like triple digits on a bike. And loosing someone overboard happens more often than not....
