I drove for 28 years, all sizes, makes. I've taught at a major school for 5 years. Drove for another year before I was promoted to Driver Trainer, Safety and Recruiter with the company I'm currently with. I'm also a certified air brake instructor, defensive driver instructor, heavy vehicle master trainer through the Office of Energy Efficiency.

HOW TO CALL THE POLICE WHEN YOU'RE OLD AND DON'T MOVE FAST ANYMORE.George Phillips of Meridian, Mississippi was going up to bed when his wife told him that he'd left the light on in the garden shed, which she could see from the bedroom window. George opened the back door to go turn off the light but saw that there were people in the shed stealing things.He phoned the police, who asked "Is someone in your house," and he said "no." Then they said that all patrols were busy, and that he should simply lock his door and an officer would be along when available. George said, "Okay," hung up, counted to 30, and phoned the police again. "Hello, I just called you a few seconds ago because there were people stealing things from my shed. Well, you don't have to worry about them now because I just shot them." Then he hung up. Within five minutes six police cars, a SWAT Team, a helicopter, two fire trucks, a paramedic and an ambulance showed up at the Phillips' residence and caught the burglars red-handed. One of the Policemen said to George: "I thought you said that you'd shot them!" George said, "I thought you said there was nobody available!"(True Story) I LOVE IT - Don't mess with old people.

Hi Sonny, welcome back. I see from the pictures that you bought your RSTD at Kelly's Cycle in Hamilton. I came close to buying an 07 midnight from them last fall, but settled for an 03 RSMV from another dealer. Congrates on your purchase. I live in Hagersville, not far from you, so we'll have to get together for a ride soon. Another member, Austy bought his 07 RSV from Kelly's as well.

I was checking out DiamondR's web site when I found a link to Venturerider.Org, checked it out, liked what I saw, joined, haven't looked back since. Thanks Don for having a great site for all of us.

Go into the search engine and type in Driving lights. A lot of threads will eventually lead you to some instructions. But first you will have to split the fairing and remove your gas tank to run your wiring through. There is a thread by Freebird on how to split the fairing and remove the gas tank. I installed mine using the instructions I got here on VentureRiders. Have fun, but be very patient.

Steve, your Carquest has a better price than the one I went to. $12.99 a can. But I dumped it into my RSMV, went for a ride on Saturday, and gradually the engine response was improving the longer I rode. Question I have, it states on the can that SeaFoam can also be used in with the motor oil. Has anyone here mixed it in with their oil, and if so does it improve the engine performance or is it a grab on the manufacturer to get customers to buy and use more of their product.

Been out 2 days in a row. Just Fantastic!!! Still a bit too cold, but worth it. Sun shining, birds were singing and my RSMV was just a humming!!!!

WOW.... This is the new record in Canada. He caught it on Rainy Lake. Check this thing out!!!!!! The last picture is Unbelievable!!!!!! This guy was fishing and caught a 36" Pike. As he was reeling it in, a 56" Pike tried to eat it!!! He brought them both in on the same net. Awesome catch on a river in Canada...55lbs.-56 inches!!!

Ahhhhh, I feel soooo much better. Sun is shining, temp around -1C, wind chill -6C, what the hell, got geared up, took the cover off the RSMV, pulled her out of the garage, said good-bye to the misses, 1 1/2 hrs. and 140km later came back home. What a glorious feeling to get in the first ride of the season. Like I said, I feel soooo much better.
