  1. I know some of you have classic cars. My question is. What insurance do you have, and will it cover the amount you have invested or it's value?

I am in the process of buying an 86 Monty Carlo SS T Top and it has less than 20,000 miles on it.

  2. I have been thinking when it is time to go that way I would. Our local bike shop had demo from California Sidecar over the weekend, so I got off work early Friday and went over to try them out. First time on a trike and I was suprised at how well they handle. I tried a HD, a Victory, a Kawasaki and a Goldwing, and a Yamaha Strat. I liked the Goldwing the best. I will trike mine before I pay $30,000 for one.

  3. I was at a bike show last year and two identical HD's came in parked on each side of mine. They left the show before it was over and when I went to get on mine to leave there was three knife holes in the seat, I know one of them did it as they stood by the bikes looking mine over for a while before they left. If I would have seen them do it he would have had to walk or crawl home or I'd be in jail yet today.

  4. Well our local Yamaha Dealer had free demo rides today and tomorrow. California Sidecar has the bikes for demo. So I got off work at 10:00 and headed over. Looked at an Ultra a Victory a Strat and a couple Goldwings. I ended up taking the Victory cross country for a ride. Not too impressed with the way they had it set up with short windsheild and no lower fairing. It ran good but had some vibration in the bars and front end. The gut told me that the cross country tour is a different animal. So then I jumped on one of the Goldwings. That was a mistake. It ran rings around the Victory. I could tell that right off. I did the same ride but went about 15 miles further and hit a few of my favorite roads. When I got back the man running the demo's ask how I liked it. I just looked at him and said if it wouldn't be $30,000.00 I would take it home.I didn't mind the seating or the footing, a good backrest and highway pegs would take care of that. And I was surprised how smooth the wing road. If I could afford it I would get one tomorrow.

  5. Well you can cut it up all you want but someone is going to make it happen. It just as well be Harley. I would buy one for a commuter bike to work and around town to do errands. Then I could save my RSV from all the dust I get on it in the parking lot at work and weekend rides. There is only two draw backs. #1 I will be retired before it gets to market. #2 it would have to do 80 MPH or I would get run over by some nut.:rotf:

  6. Youll have to educate me on a "fairing protector" When I google it it shows up sport bike stuff. Whats it do? Whats it look like. Got a link?

I think he is referring to the wind deflectors at the bottom of the upper fairing. I have not seen any tinted but have seen a couple sets painted and at least one set Chrome.

  7. I just got a Sony action cam. I was talking to a friend on Sunday. He told me that the Sony beat out the Go Pro for best video and ease of use. It also comes with a water tight case so that is a big plus for me. I think it was $119.00 on Amazon.

  8. Hi Robbie thanks for the time and effort you and the wife put to such a good cause. I have been doing this ride sense 05 but missed the last two years due to conflicting events. I am in Falling Waters ,WV we will have to get together for a ride sometime.
