  1. Sorry to hear that some of you can't find the carb covers or twinky covers. I do make a few sets now and then if you are interested.
  2. Looks good Don. Thanks for all you do.
  3. Sorry to hear this Scott, prayers to you and the family.
  4. The only thing that kept me from getting a turbo this weekend was the monthly payment. It was a 6.7 turbo diesel in a F-250.
  5. Dan I use a dial indicator type air gauge. It has w flexible hose and does not loose pressure when checking the tire. I got at Advanced Auto. It is accurate and it is the only one I use.
  6. It is the 3.7 V6. If you look under the hood the valve covers look like they came off a hemi, they are huge. Plenty of power, even with traction control it will break the tires loose. 6 speed auto trans with manual shift. I am liking it more every day. It has been 40 some years sence I have owned a convertible and I am enjoying it.
  7. Well while This thread is HIJACKED I just as well join in. As we are as close as we are we should get together for a ride some Saturday. We could go for donuts or do some house hunting. :rotf::rotf::rotf:
  8. Sorry to hear you went down. Prayers sent for a speedy recovery.
  9. Sure did, can't go by without stopping.
  10. The wife and I took a ride down to Front Royal Va. today as it was a nice day to ride. On the way home we did a stop and look what had to follow us home. I do not know how to put pics on here so the links will have to do. http://s253.photobucket.com/user/slowrollwv/media/005_zpsd5e9b3ca.jpg.html?o=0 http://s253.photobucket.com/user/slowrollwv/media/001_zpsccff486d.jpg.html?o=1 http://s253.photobucket.com/user/slowrollwv/media/003_zpsd0c86c1c.jpg.html?o=2 http://s253.photobucket.com/user/slowrollwv/media/002_zps0e824c6c.jpg.html?o=3 http://s253.photobucket.com/user/slowrollwv/media/004_zps32c64719.jpg.html?o=4 The wife drove it home then she said she would take the Explorer to drive. Naturally I agreed. :rotf:
  11. Jeff sorry to hear that you fell and got hurt. Take it easy and get well soon.
  12. We had a guy in our SCRC club that would pull a spark plug wire off when you weren't looking till he pulled one of mine and I saw him do it. It didn't take long for him to get up off the ground. He never messed with plug wires again.
  13. It would have been a little different if the car hadn't pulled out in front of me. Besides that road is in a state park with a lot of badges around.
  14. DON'T KNOW IF THIS WILL WORK BUT HERE GOES. http://s253.photobucket.com/user/slowrollwv/media/006_zps160d2c32.mp4.html?sort=3&o=67
  15. Well I have been riding for as long as I can remember so I am not sure how to answer this. I would say getting out and meeting the friends that I haven't met yet.
  16. How true and they like to:stirthepot::stirthepot::rotf::rotf:
  17. As they have already started on the plugs they will have to replace them. How long has it been since the fuel filter has been changed? Might be the fuel pump also. How many miles are on it, could be a number of things if it has a lot of miles.
  18. Looks good. Blue and Gold, I have been seeing those colors since grade school.
  19. Should be a nice truck when you are finished. I picked up an 86 Monte Carlo SS T-Top in July. I should have the interior ready to go back in next month.
  20. HID headlight and LED driving lights. I know that is two but they go together sooo well.
  21. The plug in the fairing should be cold when the switch is off. Do you have anything hard wired that may be hot all the time? I had my GPS plugged into an outlet and it would drain my battery.
  22. Those are the only thing I put on the bike that the wife didn't like so off they came, now someone in Pa. is happy.
  23. I checked to see if I still had the extra one but it is gone. Sorry, I must have sent it to someone else.
