  1. That is the reason I don't let strangers behind the wheel of my cars.
  2. That is what I had to do after the change. Thought something happened to this PC till I tried it that way.
  3. My tags went dead the first of Feb. Went and got new ones yesterday. Two year tag $37.50. I am good to go if I don't forget the inspection in May.
  4. Those are what I ride on. Had a Corbin and sold it. Now I have a Saddleman Road Sofa and the stock seats that I had 3/4 gel pads put in them in the shed. My back side just likes the pillow tops.
  5. And drop down to Greybull from Lovell and back up to Dayton is a fantastic day ride.
  6. I have been here for 7 years and only have 598 with this one. I am still a new kid on the block.
  7. WOW! YOU DONE GOOD. I wouldn't mind having a set of them.
  8. I looked at those before I got mine. The one I got has all delron tips. It is a No-Mar Pro about $1,200.00. I would have to change a lot of tires to pay for it but I didn't buy it to go into business.
  9. Looks to me that the only time you are going to ride the Harley is to tow them to the water.
  10. I have had that happen to me a couple times. Now that I have my own tire changer I inspect the valve and put a new core in every time I change a tire.
  11. I have had my granddaughter on my bike when she was seven. I like others said did short trips until I was sure she could ride and be safe. I had her to set close to me with her arms around my waste so I knew she was not moving around. Now she rides with me every chance she gets.
  12. I use to take my tires to a shop about 15 miles away and have them changed about $40.00 a pair. No more as I got my own tire changer. A No-Mar Elite. Now the only thing it takes is time.
  13. WORK has never been a problem with me. I can lay down and sleep beside it all day.:cool10:
  14. I have no pity for anyone driving under the influence. Should have gotten the max.
  15. I use to spend about four hours cleaning the bike then about the same time cleaning the white walls. Went to E III.
  16. I have changed mine with out any special tools. When you get the two bolts out that hold the filter you can loosen the clamp to the air duct and remove the box. There is a small rubber hose that hooks to the back of the box but it is not any trouble to unhook or hook back up. As for cleaning or replacing the filter. I have the original filters in my 03. I remove the filters and lightly clean them with mild soapy water and let them air dry till the next day then put them back it.
  17. Hay Fool turn that darn nozzle a little to the north will you. We have been getting all day.
  18. LOL I had that happen to me at 70 MPH in a Ford Explorer. Had a four wheel alignment the day before and felt a vibration, tried to call the shop but he left for the day so I was going to take it back after work but it flew apart on my way to work at 5 AM. The guy that did the work left the axel not loose.
  19. No exchange rate in this one. I made a reservation for Don's MD at a Super 8. Didn't realize I had the wrong town and booked. Then seen the mistake and tried to cancel, no can do. Priceline will keep all the money if I cancel. I tried to switch to the same motel chain a little closer, can't do that either. So I will be staying about 20 miles from Don's. I will never book a motel while I am using MapQuest again.
  20. Holy Land? Never heard it called that. Hilly yes but not Holy. The two couples that I am meeting are out of Midland.
  21. Dave I am not sure about a maintenance day but I will be in your area the first week of July. The wife and I will be in Branson area on Vacation along with two couples from Texas.
  22. I get all my tires from Jake Wilson. Best pricing and free shipping in lower 48, not sure about Canada though. I have my third set of E-III's in the shed weighting to be installed but won't do that till the middle of June.
