  1. Lewis I have been watching this event the last couple years and have not been able to get there. I just don't have enough vac. time to do it but the next one you hold I WILL be there as I will have all the vac. time I can handle after May of next year.
  2. Will be in that area over the forth of July.
  3. Here is a picture of my bike with them on it. http://s253.photobucket.com/user/slowrollwv/media/003_zps820e1efc.jpg.html?sort=3&o=164
  4. Harley's do not have a safety switch on any model
  5. Sure would like to make this one, BUT Branson is calling my name and tugging on the shirt slave.
  6. Yes I have them but am leaving for Branson MO, on Friday so I won't be able to ship till the week after I get back.
  7. The only problem I have seen with them is the plastic cracks at the mounting holes. I made Stainless Steel ones to replace mine.
  8. No I have not tried them, I have a set of Star bags that I use once in a while.
  9. At least we don't have to have two or three parts bikes setting around to keep ours running.:rotfl::rotfl:
  10. Congrats Carl and Marca. Hope you have many more to celebrate.

I tried that once. When the back wheel caught up with the front, it didn't end well for me.
  12. That is a good price for them. I have seen them go for about $175.00 on Ebay.
  13. I was at our SCRC WV State Rally over the weekend. I won a set of saddlebag and trunk liners. They will not fit my Venture as they are for a Harley-Davidson. If anybody is interested in them send me a PM and we can work out the details.
  14. Skid where is the other two straights? I have only found 9 of them.
  15. If it works good and saves you some . Good deal.
  16. I thought the second one was butt ugly.
  17. Hi Gary that is the Bike that Donna (kickstand) has been riding since she joined SCRC. And has had it to SC several times It is fuel injected and runs great. She has not had very much trouble from it at all.
  18. Not sure about that one. If it is for auto it will not be vary good on the bike if you get in rain. I have a Sony Action Cam and for the price it is a steal.
  19. When my shock went out it still held air but it was like riding a pogo stick down the road. If yours goes out on your trip it could cause an accident. As for the lowering kit you will have to get a set of stock dog bones to raise it back up. You can use the caliper arm that is on it now or go back to stock on it also.
  20. Well I did the ride today. Over 3000 bikes. Left Greencastel,PA at noon and got to the VA center just before 2:00. I have a short vid of the staging area and will try to get it up later tonight.
  21. Earl what you have said here is spot on. I like the recommendations that you mentioned and will be doing the up grades as soon as possible. Thank you.
  22. I hope that you and Phil have a safe trip. Enjoy it while you can.
  23. Dan you should get your memory back but it will take some time. As for the crash you may not remember it but will know that you had it. When I had my high side crash in 06 I could not remember having one. I had a severe concussion and bruised back with four broken ribs. After a while I could remember every thing but the crash. I am praying for a fast and total recovery for you.
  24. Sunday is the God Bless America Ride 25TH Anniversary. They expect to register some 2200 to 2500 bikes for this year. I will register tomorrow morning and be at the start about 8:30 Sunday morning. I try to get as far to the front as I can. I-81 will be a mess when we take it to the VA Center.
  25. Mike I have not made anything like those in the pics.
