  1. That bike will look AWSOME. Can't wait to see it when it is done.
  2. I only have one question. WHERE IS NEXT ONE GOING TO BE HELD.
  3. Sorry to hear of this. Prayers for a speedy and full recovery Mel.
  4. I will take $75.00 plus shipping. I will get a couple pics of them tonight.
  5. I have a set of stock muffs that have been modified and they sound good. I have a set of shark fin tips on them also. If you would be interested in them, let me know.
  6. Shame I don't live closer I would bring my welder over and fix it for you.
  7. No I did not get it yet. Trying to get a few things done around the house before I will have the funds to get it.
  8. Glad you and the bike are OK. We have a few of those bridges around here and I will not use them.
  9. I am not really into HD but the 88 I could get into. My oldest brother had an 89 that I should have bought when he sold it.
  10. I have a saddleman road sofa you could try.
  11. Eck you said The list I posted is showing only the "highest paved roads" in United States, state by state, (not good riding roads state by state). The heading on this thread says DANGEROUS ROADS not highest elevation.
  12. Eck there is one more for WV. It is RT 72 from Parsons to Harman. It is very twisty and only 1 1/2 lanes wide. No lines on the road and very few guard rails. Fun road for a bike if you are not in a hurry.
  13. Eck you have Snowshoe listed but not Spruce Knob it is a paved road and it is the highest point in WV.
  14. The wife has the frogg Toggs and likes them. I have used them bur I now have a set of Tourmasters and I do not think I will go back to the Toggs.
  15. I tried the Corbin seat and didn't like it, it is hard as a rock. I also tried a Saddleman Road Sofa and it was better than the Corbin but I went with a set of Pillow tops that a friend gave me. The wife and I just got back from Branson,Mo. We did 3,187 miles round trip with no complaints on the pillow tops.
  16. Before I would do any painting I would use a primer/sealer on all the parts. It will cover the different shades and it will not bleed through the color you are going to use and you do not have to sand it before you paint.
  17. The radio connections are under the fairing. When I added my GPS I put a six fuse block in under the seat just above the battery. I used this block to power the GPS and driving lights and a couple other things and used relays to all so that I could use a keyed switch to operate the relay. If you are just going to install the GPS you could use any keyed wire under the fairing to keep it from draining your battery. The GPS should only draw about 2 amps
  18. We just come home from Branson, MO on part of your route. I-70 was in fair shape with little road work. Traffic was not too bad on Friday afternoon when we got to Indy. We got a motel in Richmond, IN for the night then on Home on Sat.
  19. I was going to try it coming home from Branson the other day . Pulling My trailer but the wife didn't want anything to do with that idea.
  20. I wave if I have time. I wave and really do not care if the other does not. I wave at cops when they pass by, I even wave at the people working on the road if they are looking in my direction. Heck I wave at everyone cause I am happy to be able to do the thing I love to do. RIDE.
