In 1972 I hit two cars with a Bridgestone 350 GTO. After three months in a full body cast I had an operation on my left leg to rebuild it. While in a cast I rebuilt the bike. When the cast came off and I learnt how to walk again I wanted to ride but was too afraid of another injury so I sold it to my brother. The next year the wife and were visiting my brother and she wanted to go for a ride, but only with me. That started the urge to ride more so when we moved to MD. I bought another bike then two others. When our sons were born I gave up riding until 2005 when I got the Venture from my oldest brother. Will I quite again? Not anytime soon.

I have the wind deflectors on mine and highway pegs. What I do a lot is rest my heel on the boards and my toes out on the peg mount. I get a good bit of air that way.

Yes they are plug and play. Mine has been in for over 5 years.

Here is one for you Don. Going down the interstate boing 10 MPH over the limit in the right hand lane and coming up on an exit, then out of the blue is some A hole doing 90 and cuts you off to hit the exit.

It is with great regret that I am discontinuing the parts that I have been making for the last eight years. The suppliers that I have used has doubled there prices and I can not in good conscious raise the prices to off set them. I do thank every one that has bought my parts in the past. I do have a few parts that I will finish and give them to Don for prizes at MD or the IR. Again thank you all.

Well I do not care if they do or do not come out with something new. Mine is payed for and doesn't eat a thing till I am on it. It runs good and is comfortable enough to go cross country. So I will keep it.

The pipes drilled out should not hurt the motor. Most of the people switch there pipes. The backfire could be from not plugging the AIS.

Yes I know I have seen a couple 2nd gens for less than that.

Mike there is no point in expressing a WV rally more than Gary and I have already said. If you remember WV was shot down in the beginning last year. If we are picked for the rally then the work will begin. I have the location with all the motel, camping and cabins that will accommodate four to six couples. As far as sites to see there is plenty to see.

I am going to have to start looking for one in March of next year. I told my oldest son I would help him get one. Saw an 91 the other day with the training wheels on it with only 13,000 miles. Talked to the owner and every thing works as it should. No cracke in the plastic and the paint looked good also. He was asking $7,600.00.

I have had to miss the last three Vogal's do to not having enough Vac. time. and I do not want to miss the next one. I will retire in may so I hope there is another event.

I was at our local bike night last night and there was an 86 there for sale. It had a set of the out rigger wheels on it with 13,000 miles. He was asking $6,900 for it. It was in near perfect shape, no cracks in the plastic, paint looked good and everything worked. I thought his price was a little too high.

When I put my hat in the ring for the IR Oct. was just a time frame. It could be moved to late Sept. and still be a good time of year for some of the best riding any where.

Man that could have been bad. I clean my bike every week but have not noticed those bolts, I will have to take a better look.

Jeff you would be about # 50 if you did that at my local DMV. When I have to go there I plan on all day and get there at least an hour and a half before it opens.

I started on my brothers JAWA 50 when he wasn't looking. First street legal bike was a Suzuki 90, then 350 Bridgestone, 350 Yamaha, 650 Yamaha, GS 1000 Suzuki. Then gave up riding for 18 years. Now 2003 RSV.
