  1. Looks good to me. I will come down if you get something together next year.
  2. OK I have an extra pair of long johns and a set of Gerbings gloves if you need them.
  3. Heck that will just wake you up quicker.
  4. Hate to bust your bubble guys but this thread is three years old.
  5. Usually daytime temps are mid 70 to mid 80. Night time temps are mid 50 to mid 60.
  6. Great story and thank you for thinking of your dad so much. I am sure he is loving it as much as you are. :thumbsup2:
  7. Thanks Gary if we do get the international your help will be greatly appreciated.
  8. Heck if it is rivers you want to ride up and down come to WV. You can ride beside the Cheat, Dry Fork. Black Water, and Black fork and they eventually end up in the Mississippi.
  9. If WV is the location for the rally. The place I would hold it is http://canaanresort.com/13/home/ it has camping, lodge and cabins, the cabins have 1 to 4 bedrooms. The time frame will be Sept. 26th - 29th. Sunday the 25 th would be arrival date and Fri. 30 would be departure date. Go here for some of the area attractions. http://canaanresort.com/13/activities/area-attractions/
  10. It is sounding better already. I will have to keep this in mind . The spring race may be out as we usually have a lot of snow up here, little hard riding on ice. I retire the end of May so who knows.
  11. FL. is one of the three states that I have not been to on the eastern half of the country. I would like to go there but it would have to be for more than a one day visit. Lets see, If I take a trip to Daytona for the race I could stretch that into a week. Do you think that would work?
  12. From what I can remember without reading through the many posts. The WI. and Ontario is mid Aug. The gulf coast in Oct and the WV is last week of Sept.
  13. If that would happen then Don would break out his trusty double headed coin and play some heads I win tails you loose.:rotf:
  14. I used 320 grit sand paper and then used the green polishing rouge with an 8" wheel to do all the carb covers that I made.
  15. I have been in there and it is very crowded during bike week. Sorry to see it go. I think it will be back bigger and better.
  16. Mike I am with Steve on this one. Yamaha didn't make an 1800 V-Twin. 1700 is as big as they went with the Road Star. I have been looking at them for a couple years now but just haven't bit the bullet yet.
  17. Lewis I can not give you enough thanks for what you do for the kids. It is a shame that I do not live close enough to Join you on this ride, I would be there in a heart beat.
  18. That is right, most of the tires I change are for friends that I ride with so I give them a brake.
  19. I have a no-mar tire changer. So my tires are not a problem. I do change tries for others at $20.00 a tire if they bring the wheel off the bike. If it is on the bike I get $30 per wheel.
  20. It is the same here with our local SCRC chapter. We have 189 members and we are lucky to get 6 bikes on a ride.
  21. I have found that a person with common cense can fix just about anything but stupid. You just can't fix it.
  22. It has been nearly 15 years now that I have pulled the trigger on a deer with any of my guns. I have four black powder guns. A 50 cal. Hawkins, 50 cal. Renegade, 50 cal. camo inline and a 45 cal. Kentucky long rifle. I don't shoot them any more as I hate the smell of rotten eggs when you clean them. But I do like the smell of burnt powder.
  23. Same here.
  24. Thanks Orlin You have a nice weekend also.
  25. I have met a lot of good officers and a few I wouldn't give a drink of water in the middle of a desert. So here is to the good ones.
