I don't even see the brackets.....
Mine craked and I need new ones. MotoSport.com shows them but I can't tell how they are attached and they want $126.00 just for the hardware.
Did yo uhave any luck?
If you just need the mounting brackets go to Partshark.com they have them and you can see them on their part fitch to make sure that you are getting the right part. The last set I got from them were something like 13.00 for both brackets.

Eck I was on the lotto list twice in four months up here and didn't get to trial on either time. Had to laugh at the wife though she hit the lottery the next month after she chuckled at me.
-
could add a trailer hitch and put another trunk or box on when more space is needed and remove when not.
I have done both and they work just fine for what I need. I use a trailer when I need to, or just slip the extra trunk on when I need it

About the only way to overcome that situation would be to have your seats reworked. Remove some of the padding from your seat and add some to hers.

Yes the sun shade is nice on those bright days. And if it is not dark enough, you can get them darker.

My thoughts on this subject. The RSTD does not have the fairing with all the weight of the RSV and the trunk and CB radio under it. I am not sure but think that the RSTD is a little lower also. Just those will cause a lot of differences in acceleration and cornering. They both have the same motor, tranny and rear gear unless the PO changed the gearing to a V- Max gear in the RSTD.

Sad story for the helmet. I have the same one you just got. I didn't get the color that I wanted but like the red one anyhow. I got mine for $189. and no discount. I guess it is where the market is.

Can I tag along in my Mercedes?
Sure can. I might want you to take me a ride. Never been in one before.

..You hit the nail right on the head, something should have been done after the second DUI. You can bet you a$$ he never got his license back after the first one, not with his stellar record of criminal activity. So way did he keep getting put back out on the street. What ever happened to 3 strikes your out. I thought career criminals are suppose to stay in jail. After the third DUI it should have been obvious that this guy was going to keep doing it and kill someone in the end.And it did.

You should have set up a camera. That would make a lot of Utube videos.

You can't stop every body from doing something like this. The problem is with the judges and lawyers who do not use the laws that are already in place. They let them go with a slap on the hands and pat themselves on the back for doing a good job even though it cost someone their life.

Sounds like the squealing may be coming from your wallet.

Pain with a workout means that you are healing, that is good. Keep up the good work Dan we are here to hear about your akes and pains.

Rick is the MM giving you any trouble? Why take parts off it to put on the new bike? I have an extra front fairing and you should be able to get the lowers off ebay. You could sell the MM to cover the cost of the rebuild.
-
Never happens that way Chuck. I will have a "few" around the camp fire at times ( be quiet Squidley) but the bike is off limits then and same with car!!
Yeah I know Dan but just hearing of a dirt bag like that makes my blood boil.
-
I agree with every thing you said. He should have been the one to parish. I hope they put that dirt bag away till he can't walk let alone drive.

One quick thing you can check on Puc is that loose nut between the seat and keyboard...
Don't think that will help any. I think the t are striped out.
-
YUP parked the bike too today - good timing as I am opening it up to do the Barnett Clutch Upgrade.
What you going to do with the rest of the time you will have on your hands? It only takes about 45 minutes to do the up grade. Brink ? While your at have one for me.

Being from Omaha, I could be interested. Keep us posted. And it really isn't that far, SlowrollWV. I can show you the way.
Oh I think I could find it all I have to do is point the front fender west and the bike will do the rest.
-
Sounds like you had a great weekend. It is a shame that I live too far away to join you for the meet and eat. Maybe who know what next year will bring.
-
I would look it over real good. Check mileage. I am sure that the people at the auction know what year it is. If it is 07 or 08 it could bring 8,000 to 10,000 depending on who is bidding.

Williams River Road may be the Best in WV.
Isn't that the one that leads to your front door?

Oh heck yea, route 72 is a must ride for all who attend the rally. Another beautiful road to ride.
Here is a sneak preview =
Here is a day ride that includes 72 if you are interested. We start off by riding a good section of the well known "corridor" then head south to Cabins picking up Smoke Hole Rd taking it south to Hwy 220 staying south to Hwy 33 west through Seneca rocks and over to Hwy 32 north to Hwy 72 west to 219 north/east back to Canaan Valley
We can ride this route https://goo.gl/maps/AWW8ejJBGnQ2
Or we can ride this route which includes RT 42 suggested by Slowroll: https://goo.gl/maps/noMfRU8xGQ62 (Note: This route cuts out riding the corridor.)
If you choose to ride this route "clockwise from Canaan Valley, then we would ride the corridor from the west to the east which is opposite of the following video. Either way, the scenery is fantastic..:
Part 1 =
Part 2 = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tphez8MWZcc
Eck that is definetly a nice ride but with a large group it may be too long. What I was thinking if from the lodge to Petersburg by way of Smoke Hole Road then rt 42 to Scherr and then a short ride on the " H" back into Thomas then 219 to parsons and then 72 back to the lodge. And check out Lance Ridge road from Aurora ,wv to St. George, wv and let me know what you think.

Thanks Gary but when I got my 660 I could not get Mapsourse. I have Basecamp on my pc but it is hard for me to use. I use H-D Ride planner. I can save the routs in the files then load them to my GPS as needed through Tyre to Travel.
