  1. I don't even see the brackets.....

Mine craked and I need new ones. MotoSport.com shows them but I can't tell how they are attached and they want $126.00 just for the hardware.

    Did yo uhave any luck?

If you just need the mounting brackets go to Partshark.com they have them and you can see them on their part fitch to make sure that you are getting the right part. The last set I got from them were something like 13.00 for both brackets.

  2. Eck I was on the lotto list twice in four months up here and didn't get to trial on either time. Had to laugh at the wife though she hit the lottery the next month after she chuckled at me.

  3. My thoughts on this subject. The RSTD does not have the fairing with all the weight of the RSV and the trunk and CB radio under it. I am not sure but think that the RSTD is a little lower also. Just those will cause a lot of differences in acceleration and cornering. They both have the same motor, tranny and rear gear unless the PO changed the gearing to a V- Max gear in the RSTD.

  4. You hit the nail right on the head, something should have been done after the second DUI. You can bet you a$$ he never got his license back after the first one, not with his stellar record of criminal activity. So way did he keep getting put back out on the street. What ever happened to 3 strikes your out. I thought career criminals are suppose to stay in jail. After the third DUI it should have been obvious that this guy was going to keep doing it and kill someone in the end.

    And it did.

  5. You can't stop every body from doing something like this. The problem is with the judges and lawyers who do not use the laws that are already in place. They let them go with a slap on the hands and pat themselves on the back for doing a good job even though it cost someone their life.

  6. Rick is the MM giving you any trouble? Why take parts off it to put on the new bike? I have an extra front fairing and you should be able to get the lowers off ebay. You could sell the MM to cover the cost of the rebuild.

  7. Oh heck yea, route 72 is a must ride for all who attend the rally. Another beautiful road to ride.

Here is a sneak preview =

Here is a day ride that includes 72 if you are interested. We start off by riding a good section of the well known "corridor" then head south to Cabins picking up Smoke Hole Rd taking it south to Hwy 220 staying south to Hwy 33 west through Seneca rocks and over to Hwy 32 north to Hwy 72 west to 219 north/east back to Canaan Valley

We can ride this route https://goo.gl/maps/AWW8ejJBGnQ2

Or we can ride this route which includes RT 42 suggested by Slowroll: https://goo.gl/maps/noMfRU8xGQ62 (Note: This route cuts out riding the corridor.)

If you choose to ride this route "clockwise from Canaan Valley, then we would ride the corridor from the west to the east which is opposite of the following video. Either way, the scenery is fantastic..:

Eck that is definetly a nice ride but with a large group it may be too long. What I was thinking if from the lodge to Petersburg by way of Smoke Hole Road then rt 42 to Scherr and then a short ride on the " H" back into Thomas then 219 to parsons and then 72 back to the lodge. And check out Lance Ridge road from Aurora ,wv to St. George, wv and let me know what you think.
