  1. Well after a lot of looking and questions the wife and I have decided to hold off on a new bike or trike. Had everything in place but did not pull the trigger. I will ride the RSV for another year then see what I will do. Who knows maybe even a HD in the future but not likely.
  2. Yep it is an F6B triked out. I could not ride it for more than 1/2 hour with out a back rest and then it would not look right,
  3. I have seen the videos of them but I don't think I would want them on a RSV.
  4. I am 63 years old and we lost my dad in a coal mine accident 6 months before I was born. I didn't get a chance to get to know him and still miss him. Get the bike from your dad and thank him. You will cherish it I am sure. And you will think of him every time you get on it and smile.
  5. Rick I use paypal a lot and have seen this happen. When I get a message from paypal for that reason, I will send an email telling the person that I can not ship it till the funds clear the account.
  6. Yes Puc it is 1800. As for the code I don't need it. She is the reason we ride today. If I need for speed I can jump on our V65 Sabre and go.
  7. Yes Puc it is an 1800. 2015 model, Silver in color.
  8. Dan no one knows what tomorrow will bring. I know for sure that I don't, so I am thinking about 5 to 10 years I will not be able to hold up two wheels so if I want to keep on riding and getting a new bike I should get the trike now.
  9. Well took the wife in today to look at the Roadmaster and while we were there she spotted a Wing trike and said if we are going to get a new ride just as well get that one. We will know on Tuesday if we get it or not.
  10. Talking about next scoots. The wife and I may pull the trigger on a 2015 Wing Trike. If we are going to get a new ride just as well get one that I will be able to handle for the next 10 or 15 years.
  11. That is not a weird request. If you were close enough you could ride mine.
  12. I have two brothers that have HDs and the younger one of the two said get a HD and be done with buying bikes. He did not like my answer to that. The oldest brother had my RSV when I bought it and he still kicks his rump for selling it. I am just not a HD guy. I like the look and sound but that is where it stops.
  13. Bob and Leo sorry to hear that the trikes are put away for the rest of the year. I am still riding but it will not be very much longer till I join you two. I will ride tomorrow and Friday to work and take the wife for a ride on Sat. then we will see what the weather brings in the next couple weeks.
  14. Well our local Yamaha dealer is now an Indian dealer also. I went in to take a look, Well that was a start. They pulled a 2016 off the show floor and down the road I went. I did about 30 miles on back roads and I like it. I am going to take the wife in on Sat. and will see what she thinks of it. My thoughts is it feels a lot lighter than my RSV, and about 2 1/2" lower in seat height. Cruise and ABS brakes take a little to get use to but not a problem. The shifter could be out to the left a little, kind of hard to find in short trial ride. Plenty of power from the start and the 6 speed tranny is nice. The power windshield is a plus but the button could be in a better place. Plenty of power outlets without having to add them. Trunk is huge. It will hold two modular helmets and a couple light jackets. saddle bags are a little larger too. I have heard from others about heat coming from the motor and it does on the right side. It was only 73* here today so I am sure that it could get a lot hotter as the temps go up. And I ask about a CB but they do not offer one. The only thing that I didn't like too well was the price tag. $31,700 OTD. I think I could get a well equipped GW for that price and have everything I would want in a new bike. So I will let it up to the wife to decide .
  15. Sorry Greg I just sold the last set I had in the shop.
  16. I haven't watched a game since they kicked Pete Rose out.
  17. I use the OEM pads. Just a little hint. Get a "C" clamp just big enough to go over the caliper and use the old pad to push the pistons in so the caliper will go back over the new pads. Remember to use a thin piece of wood on the out side of the caliper so you do not scratch it with the clamp. Only do one side at a time
  18. I usually check my fluids twice a year. Once in the spring and then mid summer. Change the fluid every other winter.
  19. Congrats on the retirement David. I would say enjoy your free time but you paid for it. So just enjoy your time. I will be doing the same thing next May. just three months short of 37 years.
  20. Dang sorry to hear of the trouble you are going through. Hope they can get you fixed up without any trouble. Prayers sent your way.
  21. That is why I put a works shock on mine when the stock one puked. I haven't heard any bad complaints from anyone with a Hagon shock.
  22. We were up in PA. today also. Went up to Cowans Gap state park and over to Burnt Cabins. I was also in Reading last week for the NHRA Nationals, had a blast.
  23. Thanks for posting this Eck. I will be riding tomorrow. It has been planed for a couple months and not knowing about National ride day either, makes it even better.
  24. I looked at the pic a couple times. Something is wrong with the lowers. Look how far they are from the wind deflectors and you can see the electrical parts behind the fairing. I do not think the fairing should be that far forward.
  25. GW I am sorry to hear this. Prayers sent to you, your family and his. It is hard to loose a friend and coworker.
