By the way - that 2nd Gen is one pretty scoot!! One of these days Tip and I are gonna get a chance to ride one - perhaps THIS will be the year that this happens!! :thumbsup:

Glad you are out riding.I have been stuck here at the house working on a few things and nothing is going the way it should.

[IR Rally reminder]

While up checking the routs for the IR I stopped at the lodge and was told that the rooms will be heled till the end of July then will be released. You can still make reservations after that but may not get the rate that we have now. If you plan on this event please get your reservations in before the time runs out.

Hi all it is getting closer and time will slip away before we know it. If you plan on attending this event please get your registrations in. I need to get shirts ordered by the end of July . If you do not have the registration in by then you may not get a shirt. Registration will be open till the end of August. I am off this week do to lack of work so I am going up to do some pre rides and check on some restaurants that will be used for the rally.

I won't know until I pick my bike up tomorrow but it sort of looks to me like it has one on it. If it does, I may let you have it if you don't find one. I really don't care for them. I know that they make it easier to split the fairing but they also cause the lower wind deflectors to be out further and I don't like that and don't think it is good for them. Let's them flex and causes them to break.

 

Don Not true, if you use a longer bolt where the little rubber bumper is then a vacuum tube end on it they will not flex. That is what I recommend to all that have the extension that I was making.

I like to stick them to the bags with sillycone, I hate chasing them across the garage floor every time I pull the bags. They always seem to stop under the car or other hard to reach spots.

Nice looking ride. You could of given me a heads up on your trip down and I would have met you for coffee I am only 3 ml off I 81 at the first exit in WV. going south. Sorry I missed you.
