  1. It was hot here yesterday 98* 108 heat index. I had to work in the shop changing a tire and adding a throttle lock and power port on a friends bike. I will say this. I hate changing 240 low profile tires. It just about kicked this old butt but I got it done so he can go to Georgia on it this Thursday.
  2. I got a GoPro camera and it works great mounted to the handlebars. The problem is when I down load it to my computer I can not move it to Photobucket. I don't think the vids are to long about 7 or 8 minutes. I am not sure it is my settings or the difference in cameras as I have loaded other videos to the bucket.I am lost and could use a little help.
  3. I would like them to give us the option of WWW tires.
  4. Yes that is a Fantastic idea.
  5. $2.19 here in Falling Waters.
  6. That is some great news. Now she can relax and take it easy for awhile.
  7. I guess I an the oddball of this group. I still like to ride my bike. I enjoy doing long trips. This year we have not done any real long ones because the events that we attended were close and the wife doesn't get vac. time yet. I have wanted to do Vogel and the PIP but other events took precedence over them. Next year I will be retired and will make those two events if they are held.
  8. I have a set of First Gear jacket and pants. They are very good. I have been in some good down pours and didn't get wet. They also make a pretty good wind breaker when out on those chilly days.
  9. If the piece of plastic hose floats try to put a little more gas in the tank. Then it should move to where you can see it and grab it with a pair of needle nose plyers.
  10. Steve glad things are starting to work out for you.
  11. Jay to tell you the truth I got lost so I am going to do it again today and see where I made the wrong turn.
  12. I rode to work and it was only 18 miles. when I got off it took 3 hrs. and 125 miles to get home.
  13. Rob I have three flags on my trunk rack. The wife even helped me to install them.
  14. Positive thoughts Carl. If that doesn't work tell him that you will make him an unpaid silent partner. Tell him to shut up and go away.
  15. I am not too worried about the heads on this one. They have already been changed and my son works on them all the time. It wont be a big deal if it will need it again.
  16. I have had my RSV for 11 years now and have not lowered it yet but it seams that it is getting harder to keep it up at stops. I am thinking about putting in Progressive springs and lowering the front end over the winter. And if it feels like it does not help I will be looking for something else to ride.
  17. Don sorry to hear that Eileen is in pain after your ride. Do you think it could be from wearing a helmet and the wind buffeting her head? Hate to see you give up riding all together maybe you should try something on three wheels a Slingshot perhaps.
  18. There should be enough room under there. You could remove the cassette player and put it there if you do not use it.
  19. That is great that they have done so well. Not too many company's stay in the same business with out being sold to other corporations for that long. The company that I work for just celebrated 110 years. I have been there for 37 of them.
  20. Rob I just went to the Show Chrome site. The poles that I have are the Revco folding poles.
  21. I am not sure who made them. I got mine from the Venturers.org site but they look to be the same as the Show Chrome. I did get the 8" poles.
  22. I have three flag poles on my trunk rack and they are the .375 dia. never a problem. With a larger flag it will put more stress on what ever you mount it to.
  23. Nice looking scoot. I just got rid of a 900 Vulcan last month. Great bikes but we needed something bigger so we got a V Star 1300 tour.
  24. I used ride planner for a while until my PC up graded to 10. Now it will not load. I am now using Mapsourse, not the greatest maps but I can live with it. I never could get Base Camp to work .
  25. I have been thinking the same thing. I got an 07 F-250 with a 6.0 turbo diesel with a 6 speed man. tranny. Now we are looking at a toy hauler. Don't need any thing big and fancy just enough to haul the bike and a place to lay our head at night. We got the truck at an auction and saved about $10,000.
