  1. It is good to practice slow speed turns on these bikes. Your concern is to protect the guards is ok but what about the rest of it. The front guards will bend very easy even at slow speed without a brace. Larry (Carbon-One) makes a good brace for these bikes and are easy to install.
  2. I have the 424 pipes on mine and will not let them go. I like them. I had been looking for a set for a couple years and finally got them.
  3. I do feel for all you guys and gals. This is the least snow we have had here in 40+ years. We have had a grand total of 3.9" all year. :duck:
  4. How the heck did our weather get back over there? We had the same thing here on Tuesday.
  5. Jeff I was showing it to my son last night and he said it smelled like brake fluid. I am going to pull the cover off and the rear fins to check the valve covers tomorrow.
  6. Jay is a little hard to tall after it runs down on the frame, it gets a little dirty when it hits the floor.
  7. I went over to the tech section and looked at the pics. My leak is not dripping from the line it is from the mounting tang for the center stand. It could be the clutch slave cylinder and running down onto the frame.
  8. Dan that is one you better not forget, she will have you on a chain gang real quick. Happy birthday to the Worden and to Skid too.
  9. No I didn't over fill it. I will take the left rear fins off this week and see if I can find where it is coming from. Not sure what is behind the chrome cover that hides the clutch bleeder, Have not been in there yet. After thinking about it today while riding it may be the valve cover gasket starting to leak.
  10. Well I was getting the bike out this morning to go for a ride and noticed oil on the floor. Checking things out it looks like it may be coming from the back end of the motor. It is dripping down onto the frame tab for the center stand on the left side of the bike. My question where is it coming from?
  11. Prayers going your way Snaggie. Get well soon.
  12. The wife said that this will be me in May. I just .
  13. No Bob. All Dan wants is a working Voyager kit that fits the bike.
  14. I would not cut myself short on a good bike. Ask $5,000 and dicker down to $4,000 as a bottom price. If it is clean and well kept with low milage you will get it.
  15. Unusual indeed. It has been 69* and 70* here yesterday and today and they are calling for 4"to 8" of snow tonight and tomorrow. :snow2:
  16. Sorry to hear this Dan. Prayers headed your way.
  17. Here is a show for you Puc. I may go myself. http://cycleshow.net/
  18. I could go all day without seeing pics like that. We have had our share of the white stuff too.
  19. I too watched it hoping for a falcons win but it looked like they just laid down in the second half.
  20. I am so sorry to hear of your Grand parents passing and of your father and your cancer. Prayers up for both of you.
  21. Go ahead and cut Yamaha up if you want to. I am saving up for my next down payment on a new one. I have a hole $ saved and by the time the new Venture comes out I will be ready.
  22. Well it may be 6 more weeks of winter. My question is when is winter going to start? We have had less than 4" of the white stuff all year. :hurts:
  23. Russell we have not met but I feel that I know you from this site. Prayers up for a speedy and full recovery. Your friend Slowrollwv.
  24. I am not sure about that, I haven't looked into it. If I want to take the bike I can always load it on one of my trailers.
  25. I just bought a class C MH from a friend that went to a bigger one. It is on a 77 Ford chassis with a 460 with 61,000 miles. He took very good care of it and I got it at a price that I could not turn down.
