I pulled the front forks off and replaced the springs and added 15wt oil. While I have it apart I will repack the steering head bearings. Should have it back together by Friday.
Look at the pics again and you will notice that the rear brakes are on opposite sides when you flip from right to left pic. There is one pipe from the front and one from the back jugs. If it is a V4 then they have a header hid in there on both jugs.
Dog on it Rick I go to the drag strip for a few days of bike races and come home to read this and see those pics. Glad you are not hurt too much. Take the time to heal, your bike can be replaced but friends can't.
Don wish we could make it up but the wife only gets one week a year off work and we have planed to go to the WNY rally. If you have another next year she may be retired by then.
Well what ever it is I will be out of the market. Just found out that my wife's car is knocking and will have to be replaced. So we spent most of the afternoon looking at a few we are interested in.
Nice mower Don. I just got a Scagg 60" with a 25 HP Kolher off a friend that had it for a year or so and didn't use it. He has a couple mowing contracts and has four bigger mowers.
Puc that is some story and no one could tell it like you do. Congrats on the new bike. Now I will tell you to be careful on that thing. A good friend of mine had the same bike and was a racer in his younger days and always wanted to ride the Dragon on it. His wife gave him his wish with an all expenses paid vacation to go ride the Dragon with a friend he road with. On a Wednesday they had decided to do some time triles. The third time through he said he could do better so they took off and on the eleventh turn he missed his mark and went off the road and he died from the crash. The tree has a piece of his bike hanging in it but I lost a good friend. So I will say it again Please be careful on it.
Very good question. I will take a stab at it. I don't think I would. I just retired and still have a bike and car payment for at least two more years. By the time I get them off my hands I will be looking to down size or trike. Unless it really knocks my socks off.
