5 over 4 with a splitter and granny low in the box.
Do I remember those days. Spent a lot of 12 and 14 hour days in a 66 International dumper when I was 18.

I learnt to drive a stick when I was 10 years old. 49 chevy 4 speed with a granny. My first car was a 56 chevy with three on the tree so we put a conversion kit in it. When I tried to teach the wife to drive it was a 66 GTO 4 speed. I had to replace the clutch twice but she got the hang of it. When I got the 90 f-150 she would drive it more than her Dodge Monico. All of my kids learnt to drive a stick.

I just rejoined last week and I will be there.

Check the fuse then unplug it and run a jumper wire off the battery.

It was close to 92* here Monday and Tuesday but today about 78* and rain.

Glad it missed you. I was on my way home from a car show following a pick up and the lid from a larg cooler came out of the truck and headed straight for me lucky it hit the road as I got to it and ran over it.

Puc I saw that you used the E6000 on your saddlebag. There is another product that my son used on a lawnmower oil fill tub and it worked great. It is called Q bond and you can get it at most auto stores. He got it at Advanced auto and it works great.

That bike would get most people in trouble fast.

I have run my shock at 40* and have run at 0*. If you run at 0* or just a little with the weight you mentioned you will bottom out on most bumps. My shock gave out so I put a progressive shock back on, no air. It rides much better with the wife on board than the air shock ever did.

Someone on here put 10" ape hangers on his RSV. I think it was The KId. Not sure if he had to extend the wiring or not but he did have to extend the lines.

I am considering 1 1/2 inch risers for my 2nd gen if you decide to sell yours. I'm 6' 3" and am not quite where I want to be with the handlebars. I rode an RSTD for over 6 years before I got this bike and loved the bars on it. Not sure how the RSTD bars would work on the RSV...

The ESTD bars work great. I have them on my 03 and like the way they feel.

When did you move to central PA?

I have seen pics of it on facebook when he was building it.

I have had that happen here a couple times. There is three HD dealers with in 40 minutes of my house and you get the same thing at all of them. I told one sales person that I get my workout at the gym I don't need it at every stop light.
-
And he just got me back for another one too.

So sorry to hear of your accident. Glad you will be ok. Prayers up for a speedy recovery.

Apparently on the Canadian sniper training ranges they quite regularly get hits at 3000 metres. It would seem getting a hit at an extra 500 metres is not too far fetched.

That will be a long six days. At least it was for me. I made it and so will you. Congrats.

Just about any HD muffler will work you just need a set of hanger brackets and clamps. I have seen a few use (P) clamps as hangers off the saddlebag rail. I have a set of pipes here but they are obnoxiously loud that my brother made for mine before I bought it from him.

I don't mind changing tires at all. Just lock the wheel down on the changer and spin it off and then spin the new one on. I didn't like spooning them on so I got a No Mar tire changer.
-
My heart goes out to you and your family and prayers that you can get through this grief

Sounds great Cof. Glad you got her back.

Never had to deal with one that bad but I have a tire changer so it is not a problem.
