  1. I've been in the same boat the last 2 years. Pulled the whole front end off last winter to replace head bearings (damaged before I bought it) and had a small draw ever since. It's fine during the summer with regular use but even on a tender these below freezing days do my battery in.

I have no problem with the temps while on the tender it will stay full charge. My bike does not set all winter here we do get a few days that we can do a little ride.

  2. What??? A battery that cant hold a charge for a month?

Yep. Has done that since the day I got the bike. As long as I start and ride at least each week it is ok. Leave it set for two weeks and the battery will be low. One thing that I have seen with this is when it gets very low the LED lights will come on with out using the switch or key fob.

  3. Those look like they were electro plated and not very good job at that. You got them off ebay ?? Most likely cheap knock off lugs. There is not much you can do to stop rust after it starts. Maybe have them powder coated but that would cost as much as a new set from Auto Zone or Advanced Auto.

  4. I was a member in a local SCRC chapter and the first officer started a facebook page. It was only a couple years that the club members stopped using the web page and did all the ride info on facebook. My son is first officer but no one comes to meetings or rides so the club will close this chapter soon.

  5. Facebook keeps jailing me!! Here I just git chased into my corner!! It ain't bad since I put in the Big Screen, fridge &Hot Tub...........But that Puc keeps raiding MY fridge!!!! See ya soon....

Dan that three feet and counting of snow may slow him down some till spring. Then you are on your own, a pad lock on the door might help.:stirthepot: :rotfl::rotfl:

  6. I have had my RSV on a trailer three times in the past 14 years. First time was a 5' x 8' trailer it was a little too small for the bike, tail happy going down the road. Second time a friend brought it home when I had a high side crash in 06. Third when I had a flat while on a group ride. If I was going to be hauling it a lot I would get a Rampage unit for the truck.
