  1. I have no problem with the temps while on the tender it will stay full charge. My bike does not set all winter here we do get a few days that we can do a little ride.
  2. Jeff it was doing that before I put the LEDs on. Battery is 4 years old.
  3. They were calling for 2"-4" here for two days before it started yesterday. We will be lucky to have 1" here.
  4. Yep. Has done that since the day I got the bike. As long as I start and ride at least each week it is ok. Leave it set for two weeks and the battery will be low. One thing that I have seen with this is when it gets very low the LED lights will come on with out using the switch or key fob.
  5. Yah. That white crap is to hit here tomorrow morning and finish on Wednesday. I think we need that Bum fellow to start fanning the door tonight and blow it all out to sea before it gets here.
  6. Sorry Bob looks like they did it again. Good defensive game though.
  7. The Road Star is a good dependable bike. My brother has had one for a long time and loves it.
  8. Just about any Auto Zone or Advanced Auto should have them. Or a good speed Shop will have them. If you order on line try Jegs Performance.
  9. 52* here today and was going to take a short ride but I forgot to plug the tender in when I parked it a Christmas day. :bawling:
  10. All 99-2013 will fit but you will have to repaint. Someone on here that have went to a trike may still have one. But your best bet would be Ebay.
  11. Those look like they were electro plated and not very good job at that. You got them off ebay ?? Most likely cheap knock off lugs. There is not much you can do to stop rust after it starts. Maybe have them powder coated but that would cost as much as a new set from Auto Zone or Advanced Auto.
  12. I was a member in a local SCRC chapter and the first officer started a facebook page. It was only a couple years that the club members stopped using the web page and did all the ride info on facebook. My son is first officer but no one comes to meetings or rides so the club will close this chapter soon.
  13. Dan that three feet and counting of snow may slow him down some till spring. Then you are on your own, a pad lock on the door might help. :rotfl:
  14. Puc I have a question for you. Why did Mother Nature marry Old Man Winter and produce those two kids that we have to put up with? That Breezy Bum and Frosty Fool. They play havoc with the weather and cause all this trouble. :Avatars_Gee_George:
  15. That is OK Dan a couple more days of this cold s%$t and that Bum fellow up north will have enough white crap to clog the door shut he left OPEN and we will start to get some of those southern breezes and it will warm up a little.
  16. Jeff if those two want it give it to them but leave me out. I don't want any. If we get snow that means I have to drive the daughter to work and then to pick her up. So let me out.
  17. I try to take mine out at least for a short ride one day each month. Have done this the past 12 years. I have just enough snow in the drive to make it slick and 11* might be a bad day to try so I stayed home where it is warm. Glad someone is able to ride.
  18. We haven't had that low temps here but we are close. 4* yesterday morning with a high of 17*. Last night was 8* and may get to 20* today.
  19. I have an 85 V 65 Honda Sabre in the shed. got it for doing some body work on an old pick up. Need to fix a pin hole leak in the fuel tank and it is ready to go.
  20. Mike a trailer relay is possible. If there members close and are willing to do it. On the other Venture site we have done bikes all across the country. If you want to do this, put it out and see if you can get it linked together early. I am not in the area that it should travel but if it does come my way I could take it down the road for you.
  21. Thank you Fool for the second time. Your first went east of me and the second went west of me. Thanks for redirecting your fire. :clap2:
  22. I have had my RSV on a trailer three times in the past 14 years. First time was a 5' x 8' trailer it was a little too small for the bike, tail happy going down the road. Second time a friend brought it home when I had a high side crash in 06. Third when I had a flat while on a group ride. If I was going to be hauling it a lot I would get a Rampage unit for the truck.
  23. How about a location for people that have not been there?????
