  1. Puc I use to go to that area for one or two weeks every year from 1990 to 2005 in Oct for hunting. Buffalo, Kaycee and Ten Sleep area. I would love to live there.
  2. No grass to mow here yet. We did get 2" of the white stuff yesterday but roads were clear about 10:00 last night. Will be in the low to upper 70 by mid week so I will take the Yamaha for a walk.
  3. Dave you haven't made the brackets yet so before you do use the templet you have to see what hole moved. Mount your MO up to the bike and see where the holes line up on the temp. I would think that #2 hole is stagnant and #1 is moved.
  4. I have seen this before and have mentioned it before on this site but that is in the past. Now if the metric companies would have followed HD in their marketing approach here who knows where it would have gone. Would HD be so dominant in the bike industry?
  5. Dave they should work. I have made a lot of brackets for the HD pipes and the pipes you have are made for use on the HD. Best way to find out is to make a bracket out of cardboard and check it with your pipes before being made of metal.
  6. Yes that is true but he is looking for a Wagner grill. They are not made any longer and is like a needle in a hay stack to find.
  7. Dave for the mounting bracket look in the tech section. There is a bracket details there for making your bracket or you can use a "p" clamp. for the hanger.
  8. Randy I wish it was an earlier week or month as I have wanted to get down to the Ashville rally for a few years. I can't make it as the wife wants to go to the WNY rally and it is the same dates as Ashville. Have to please the wife as it is our 45 anniversary on the 18th.
  9. There you go and added something that I would not confess to. It is not the bikes that are getting OLD. It is US.
  10. Dan you forgot or Bum said it was a screen door in the other thread.
  11. And for we who ride bikes it will double or even triple at the same speed as a car.
  12. Bridgestone did make a nice and fast bike for the time they were made. It is a shame that they stopped making them and kept the junk tires that they make today.
  13. Had a 350GTO that I bought in April 72 and a 68 Impala made a U turn in front of me in July and I could not miss it. I totaled that car and went into the trunk of a friends 55 Chevy and totaled it also. Banged me up for over a year. And if I could find one that I could restore I would do it.
  14. Nope if they sold it in the early schedule I missed it, Had to take wife to the store. It will be on again at midnight tonight. As for pics could not get any as the auction is on cable TV.
  15. Hay Puc I am not sure what you got for the WLA that you had but I just saw one restored and sold on Mecum auction in Vegas. It brought $20,000.00. Lots of old and not so old bikes are on the block today. I am looking for a 1971 Bridgestone 350 GTO like I had in 72. just to see what one would bring now. 1500 bikes in the auction.
  16. The rust in the pic looks like the driving light bar. If it is too bad to clean up you can replace it. If you need a light bulb until you can replace those lights I have two you can have as I do not need them. I switched to all LED lights on mine a few years back. One other thing if you can find one, get a light bar extension bracket it will come in very handy when removing the fairing.
  17. If you can't find the lowers you can remove them all and not worry about them. A friend did just that on his Venture and it looks good.
  18. And with a little digging into the history of HD you will find that they were made in JAPAN from 1034 to 1939 using a different name tag.
  19. First Welcome to this forum. As for your questions the miles and age are not a problem with this bike. The most common problems with this bike are the rear shock and the clutch will start to slip a little at this age and mileage but both can be replaced very easy. The valves may need to be checked soon also. But over all it is a great and dependable bike that you can put a couple hundred thousand miles on with regular maintenance. I have an 03 with 100,000 on it and would not hesitate to go coast to coast at any moment. Good luck with your buy.
  20. Sylv I know first hand of what you speak. I also had Cancer in 2010 in the left side of my neck and two spots in front of my left ear. The first Doc that I went to said it was an infection and gave me antibiotics. It got bigger with in a few days so I went to another Doc that was an ear, nose and throat specialist. He did four biopsies before any medication because he was concerned about Cancer but also told me that he would have to remove the lumps. After the biopsies came back negative he did a PET scan and found the cancer in all the lumps and on the left tonsil. Two operations and radiation and chemo treatments were done and I am Cancer free of it for 7 years.
  21. I am not sure of their chippers but if it is as good as their generators it will be a good one. I have a Champion 5500 watt 6500 peak gen. that we got over 15 years ago and with little to no problems it still nuns like new.
  22. A friend of mine bought two Mahindras a few years back, one like that one and a larger one for his farm. He uses the small one more than the other as it will move into tight areas and with the three point hitch he can attach some of the implements and plow his potato patch. He is 92 now but his son and grand son use them regularly. No problems at all from what he tells me.
  23. Lenny a friend of mine has a Titan and loves it. Very smooth ride and fun to drive. He has had very little trouble with it the past 5 years. I have driven it many times and would put one at the top of my list if I was in the market for a new truck. The ford Eco-boost is not what I would be interested in, I have heard too many sad stories about them.
  24. Craig sorry to hear this and will be praying for you. Keep upbeat and don't let it get you down. I am here if you need any thing.
