Sorry Scott no demos. What they do is have the factory trucks come in and set up a demo day. And not all at the same time. I was wanting to take the TC and Wing for a ride but have not had the chance yet. As for the wing I think my V Star 1300 has more room in the bags and trunk.

OK they do make an 8" tinted shield that should hit you with out cutting it.

Good luck tomorrow I hope you get to ride the TC. My local dealer has two TC and two Eluders on the floor but does not give test rides. They also have both Hondas and Indians.

Either blade will work. The stock shield gets a little wider as you get lower. I put a nice arch in mine but left the sides as high as I could to help give the wife some wind protection. I have a Show Chrome 4" extra wide and 13-1/2" tall on mine now and it fits me very good and I am 5' 10".

If the shield is still a little too high you can cut it down to a Hight that fits you. Or you can cut the stock shield down and keep the new to you shield incase you mess up on your cut. I have cut a few down and it is not hard to do. Put a few strips of masking tape on the shield then set on the bike and look straight ahead and mark your line of sight. Make a pattern of the arch you want and mark the tape and use a jig saw with a metal cutting blade and make your cut. Use 180 or 120 sand paper folded a few times and let rest in the bow of your fingers to smooth the edge of the shield. Just leave the masking tape on while you sand the edge so you don't scratch the shield.

Was the bike kept inside or left outside? Does it start and run with out any problem? Ask if he ever had the tires changed. I would offer 5,000.00 you know you will have to change all fluids and tires.

From the parts fitch I just looked at it is behind the lower left fairing. If you go to Partshark.com and look up your bike under electrical #1 it is # 58.

On my 03 RSV it does take the 1157 bulb. They started to use the three prong bulbs at a later year, I think 06 or 07.

I had my bike repainted in 07 and used the 3M tape to reattach emblems and they have been there with out any problems. I used a hobby knife to trim the tape before attaching them to the bike.

Your not the only one that got that message.

Where did the year go? It went by so fast. I got my renewal notice yesterday and it seams that I had just payed them a few months back. OH well Payed up for another year. So your stuck with me again.

I have a 5'x8' trailer that I can pull a clevis pin and tilt the bed of the trailer off the tong. I used it to haul my RSV home when I bought it. I have thought about doing to my trailer just like the U Haul and put a wheel chuck on the front as my bike did set over the axel and did not give me enough tong weight. As I had a severe tail wag at speed.

I can't help much with the cruise but if it is the chrome aftermarket key surround. I have a black plastic one. What I did for the gas cap I went to a truck stop or Wal Mart and got the foam can cooler that matched the color of the bike and cut it off to match the gas lid. It was less than $2.00. As for the tank bib I have a leather bib with large pocket. If you are interested in any of them send me a PM and we can go from there.
