Ron you can use stainless and polish it to chrome finish and it will last longer than chrome plating.

Ronnie they look great. As for the horn for the horn is a good idea. I use to make a horn bracket out of stainless steel and a lot of people wanted them. I would leave the parts as is and let the people decide if they want the horn bracket.

Mine has the pic on it with the star in the top right corner also. They can also put your finger print on it but you still need all of the info to get renewed.

Don't think we can do ours my mail. We need too muck proof of who we are. We need birth certificate or passport, SS card, two proofs of residence and two ID cards.

I went to DMV to renew the tags on the scoot today. The lady at the info desk said wait here a minute and walked away. Came back and said you are a very lucky guy, if you had been pulled over last year you would have been giving a ticket for dead registration. I ask how when my tags were good till 2/1/19? She said that their system did not up date my info for two year tags even though it showed that I paid for two year tags. Now I have to see if their system up dates the info for the new registration that I got today for two years. :fingers-crossed-emo

Finally after three days of snow sleet and freezing rain and wind, the sun came out today . Now I have a water pump and oil changes to do.

I would be interested in a couple shirts and a jacket also.

It was 27* here yesterday with about 6". Today it is 51* and sunny, roads are bare where the sun hits it but slick in the shade. My driveway is a little soft so no riding for me.

I really don't think that state exists. If you go far enough south to get away from road salt you get sea salt instead.

I don't shoot competition any more but still have one of three custom 22LR. I also have about two cases of Eley 10X and Lapua gold box. I would never shoot cheap ammo through it. A squirrel didn't have a chance when I carried that one.

Puc I will have to agree with what Tom said about the accuracy of the cheap ammo. If you want accuracy go with the good stuff. Now I can see your part in the cheap ammo also. I don't think you are out to have a tack driver with every shot but to have fun with your gun.

I have a 45,000 BTU heater that goes on top of a propane tank. I like Puc said open the door about a foot and let it run a while and then I can do the work that needs to be done. I heat a 14 x28 uninsulated building with it and have used it in the house a few times. Good luck on your project.

Jeff if you are going to buy a new tool to break up the concrete with a hammer drill. Look at an area pawn shop, you may find a better tool for less than new. I have done this for tools that I do not use every day and still have them and they work fine.

My trunk is cracked around the rack mount holes but to fix it right it will destroy the spider web paint job on the bike. So I will have to live with it till I repaint the bike. I have another lid but can't get it painted to match.

I use Q-Bond for most of my repairs. It dries fast and is the strongest thing I have used. I get it at Advanced Auto and not expensive as others out there. I have used it on the handles of the wife's electric skillets and it holds like it was never broken. If you try it you will keep it on hand for a lot of repairs.

I knew what it was as soon as I saw it.( memory not gone yet) They use to run by my grandparents house every day when I was a youngster.
