    '09 rally

You might want to call the Hub and see what others have done. We haven't been to this type of rally berfore, so I'm afraid I don't have any other suggestions.
  2. Sorry we couldn't connect while you were here Lonna. We have been real busy. Glad you had a good trip and Mom is better.
  3. If you replace your stock pipes, I would be interrested in the old ones if in good shape.
  4. We wish you continued sucess in fighting this problem.
  5. Congrats!! I thought you might get a Venture some day. Thats great that you can have a couple of bikes that gives different options to suit the ride. I would really like to add a Road Star Silverado to the garage for daily commutes and shorter trips. Not getting rid of the Venture though (if I can help it). Ponch
  6. Finally got it all back together. Don't they know its riding seaon? These chores eventually gotta take a back seat to riding. Anyway here's some shots of it put back together.

  13. I think this is the pod you are discussing. This one is on BVinson's steed. Hope you don't mind, Bill.
  14. Have had a little set back involving non-bike issues. (Pesky Honey-do's) When I get it all back together, I'll shoot a couple more pics.

  16. Naw, its just the grade we have at work. There are a lot of different grades. 2024 and 7075 machine very well. 6061 is a little softer but welds better. Ponch

  18. I thought I would try to flush mount mine. I like it. I used 1/8" 2024 Aluminum plate and massaged it to fit in the cassette door opening, polished the face and secured it from behind using the cassette player mounting holes.

  21. Chuck, I was concerned that mine would start leaking as thay are quite worn, but still keep me dry. I wear mine at work and on the bike.
  22. Dang, Dave, you're supposed to keep the shiny side up. Oh wait, maybe its the rubber side. Anyways, glad you're OK.
  23. Whew, for a minute there I thought Ol' Bill was gonna climb back on the crotch rocket. Wait a minute .... He did! I've seen him burn those Arkansas twisties scraping the pegs on that Crotch Rocket Wing. Way to go Bill!
  24. While we're on the Zumo, has anyone been able to put the member list on their Zumo 550? I know Tom had a thread about this a while back, but I don't remember a solution being posted. But heck, I'm old, I probably just don't remember. Ponch
  25. I was at three diferent auto parts stores this week and found it in all three. Look where the crimp fittings and other electrical supplies are. They're about $7 - $8. Ponch
