I have 0 faith in media, on either side of the spectrum. They will lie to meet their agenda - Sorry not tell the whole truth. They have spent the last 30 years changing the reference from Jounalist to Media. We have very few Jounalists anymore and the ones that do exist are stifled by their superiors or editors.

Take the test again. 50% accuracy rate. I actually have a friend that was preparing for a cruise and tested Positive. Went to a different testing station and tested negative. He was told by his Dr to come in and take a 3rd test. They administered 2 tests at his Dr's office. On in each nostril. Lo and behold, 1 positive and one negative. I won't give the rest of my opinion as I'd probably get banned LOL.

Mid 50's is a good ride temp. Mid 70's - mid 80's is perfect. A good leather coat will keep you warm. I don't mind being cold and I don't mind being wet. I never want to be cold and wet again. BTW here's the weather for Houston TX. Our highs are dropping 30 degrees F overnight. You Northerners need to keep your weather up there.

I ran Nexen on my 06 Venture for roughly 18 months. Put 30K miles on it and never had any issues. I scraped the floorboards a few times and had not tread transition issues/feelings. Had the fuel pump fail on a trip and they guy would not work on it with the CT on it. I probably had another 10 - 15k of tread left on the tire. I spent roughly 6+ months going back and forth with Dunlop and Metler's R&D group after having to put 3 tires in a single year. Both brands had the same issue for me on the Gen 2, They wore out at 5K - 6K miles. Garbage for the price I was paying. (I don't have the means to mount my own tires) Front tires I'd get 12K - 14K out of from both brands. Same old scare tactic a CT will kill you on a bike, the bead won't work etc. etc. I did finally get to one development engineer who was very clear, we had our heated debates but. . . . Anyway, he said the bead difference between the CT and MT is not the issue, the issue is the softness of the side wall. MT side walls are designed to be very "stiff" as he put it. Most CTs are designed to be soft so the tread will move from the G-Force pressures during cornering. So 'any' CT will not be safe, you have to pay attention to the sidewall. Bias-Ply should be avoided. Radial should be fine. Also, he said to avoid low profile, well, duh.

Engineers Exist so the rest of us can make a living fixing what they imagine will work.

I've just started trying to weld with a low end flux welder. Not like using a torch like I did many many moons ago.

Thes Kitchen appliances are getting heavy too. Maybe a flip top for say the mixer and air fryer. LOL Just orient the appliances so the side panel flips to cover the bottom one.

Don, AS all have said you have done a great job. Unfortunately, at this time I don't have the web management experience as that has passed me by and my work schedule has gone crazy with travel.

Here's the real problem. Men are literal, women are figure-ative.

My daddy always said there's only 2 words for a happy marriage. 'Yes Dear' - She's happy. LOL. for me using those words - she's mad. Must be the sarcastic tone or what she calls my 'tone of face'. LMAO

Thanks for handling everything.

I am so right there with you. It's fun learning everything again with each ride, just like Groundhog Day. 🤣

Married at 20 and I know family and Friends were taking bets on when we would get divorced. Yes, they have all been divorced and some multiple times. It's been 38 years now and they all lost. The media, politicians and society in general always refers to 50% of all marriages end in divorce. We need to change the perception to how many stay married. Think of it this way and relate it to the people 100% of married people, How many of those married people get multiple divorces. By the time you run the stats on this, removing those people from the equation each time they divorce, I would bet you are around 85+% of all people marry 1 time and stay married for life.

Suggested Day ride. I used to do something similar to this when I was a Kid. We had family in Oak Hill and Fayetteville area (Crow Hollar). I won't make it as I live in Texas now but . . . I also remember riding 82 across from Clay area to about where 20 is, I don't remember the exact roads any more but that area is a lot of fun to ride. Stop and see the New River Gorge Bridge (I've swam under it) and Hawks Nest.

IMHO Keep the Truck. Prices are up for a lot of reasons but they took advantage of the 'chip shortage' and the pandemic. Dealers were adding a 10 - 40% upcharge and they don't want to give up those profits. The used car market was also through the roof. The trucks today are not worth what they are asking. Dealers are still wanting to sell at MSRP -1 or 2%. About a year ago I told multiple dealers I might consider 2% below invoice. Digging into this Ford, Chevy, Ram, Toyota increased their 'invoice' by an average 25% in 2022 over earlier estimates (early 2020). Toyota's increase was the least 7%. I bought a used F150 overpriced at 12,000. I put another 2K in ball joints, a new computer module, tune up, oil change etc etc. That was far better than the 65K for a new model with similar trim and accessories. It has 120K miles on it and runs well. I drive it less than 5000 miles a year and I expect it will last me another 7 - 10 years. 6 years ago we bought an '06 Tahoe for Loretta with 177K miles. It was fully loaded and I got it for $5400.00, a steal at the time as KBB was 11K and I knew the owner of the shop that had done all work on it since the warranty expired so 12+ years. Over the 6 years I've spent about 3,000 on it total, including tires (My son works at Discount Tire to I reaped those benefits) and other maintenance. It now has about 230K + miles.

This is not to be an arse but as a kid I could read the charts at 20/10, I believe that's correct, what everyone else could read at 10' I could read at 20' using that analogy. Well now I'm in my 50's and got a vision checkup before COVID because I had to start wearing readers for fine print on circuit boards etc and things started looking blurry while driving where I could read them easily just a couple of years. It had me a little worried, we had a friend who had Macular Degeneration and his sight went quickly. I walk into the office and explain to the nurse what I was experiencing, we do the 'test' and I wait for the doctor. She comes in and tells me to get out, tongue in cheek of course. I tested at 20/20. She did some other checks/tests for cataracts etc and all negative. I had a little scarring in one eye where I had a small piece a brick (I was putting in a wall penetration for cabling) got under my safety glasses and caused a scratch on the eye. I cannot fathom or comprehend the serious issues some have with their eyes and when I read things like this it definitely makes me count my blessings more.

Don't always believe what you read. 😉 The key is ONE of those 4 items will kill you. With 3 of them you will die a happy person.
