pasted a radar yesterday, bike said I was doing 74, detector said 67 so I guess when I set the cruise control at 73, i'm really doing 66. just call me slow polk

I did the same thing, But remember, with two different tires on the bike, rolling into , or onto a wet road, both tires get dicey, until there total wet. I had the same bridgestone on the front, but changed the back tire twice Metzlers 880

I too had 2 rear Metlzers chunk on me. But they were the 170's, I up graded to the 180 and haven't had any problems Yet...... wait find me a piece of wood

I can understand, that while traveling, its a bummer to have to stop for gas. while traveling alone, I can do 600 to 1000 miles a day, if the weather is good. But lately, with the wife onboard, and dragging her suitcase. after 135 miles, (I need a break)

I always turn mine off, after making a turn. or doing a lane change, I don't let them continue to blink -
The law In Florida is you move over for Both Road Rangers & police Cars. and also a 3foot rule, for Bi-cycles ( But most people, move over a lane there too.)

I wouldn't worry about it, i drag a trailer that weighs, 201 LBS empty, and I load it with about 300 lbs.no need for brakes, you just have to watch your distance, from everyone else, and correct yourselve accordingly

I had mentioned I bought a nice old Harley davidson, light bar, from an 1985 Police bike. after reviewing the HOW-TO on this site. I started the project. 45 minutes later, they red light bar was done, works great. I now have 4 brake lights on back. now if I only had a camera that worked....

I just came across, a great find. an old light bar set of an old Harley Davidson Police motorcycle. with the Big dark Red Round light.and I want to get them re-chromed. anyone know of a good chromer?
