  12. Okay something else to work on. I rode today, with the Patroit Guard riders, to bring a young soilder of 24 years, to his final resting place (Marine) The bike seemed to ride better today, (No rain). tire pressure was right on, I added 12LBS to the rear shock, seemed to handle better. did some nice peg scrappies, on the left hand turns. It handled better at 75 MPH, it was alittle windy, but just a different fell to the bike overall. Thanks for everyone's input. I will have the Clutch, checked next:mo money::mo money::doh::doh:
  13. on the 180/70B/15, tire pressure is 45-48 Lbs
  14. Different tire size, other metzelers chunked, this one is a radial
  15. Like I said the Rear tire is a Marathon 880 Radial 180/70 B /15, I was rolling about 20 mph, I was riding in a motorcade, for the PGR at the time, with a police escourt., the PD riders, were going around me on the outside of the turn, (Flying), now whats wrong with this bike?. I was cool with laying into the turn, but the bike didn't want too Bigger tire is for pulling the trailer (More supposed to be more traction)
  16. I inspected both tires, no bumps or cuts, all the treads are fine, but I found the Rear shock, is leaking oil, from the base, I checked the pressure and had 18 Lbs, so I pumped it up to 35 Lbs, lets see if it holds, I'll check tonight. I also checked the rims, for cracks, and checked for loose items, everything is tight. we'll see:confused24:
  17. I've already had two that have do that, thats why I went to the 180 880, steel belted but I'll review the tire again. This sux
  18. I was riding yesterday, on a wet roadway (It Had just rained), I was following other riders, and had a few behind me, I was entering the Florida turnpike, and was on the inside of a clover leaf, turn, turning to the right, I started to lean alittle on the turn, and the back end felt like it was sliding, Now I have a Metzler 880 180 on the rear. as I came out of the turn, and started to roll on to the trottle, the bike didn't pick up speed, all the other bikes started to pass me. it finally got up to 65, now last in line, and the bike felt squarely (?)(Please don't fell me its the Friggen Rear end again) I'm going to drop the rear end oil, and check for shavings.

  23. For me , knowing, I'd didn't have to worry about money, or time, say a year off with pay. I head straight up, into Canada, and ride as much north as I can, before it turned cold again. Visit friends in upstate new york, and stay in every KOA campground, throught the U.S. & Canada I'd be one happy Camper, But for now, Its just a:draming:
  24. Nationals down, But other states are up. Now if I can only get into Florida
  25. You can do it on Google maps. I found the street, and backed up down the block, then moved forward, That's pritty darn cool. I did it twice. Its the up slope, on the road, that creates, that effect, as you come to the turn.
