Different REAR tire sizes ???
Brake Pad replied to Miles's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
I have the Metzler 150 on the front & the 180 and before that the 190 on the back. I like the 180 better. leaves 1/4 inch from the drive shaft, were the 190 left 1/16 of an inch. I went with the bigger tires, cause I wanted more rubber on the ground while towing the trailer -
I know you guys remember when we started on bikes, you slowly worked your selves up to a bigger bike. Moving up in CC's was a big thing back then. 185 400 750 1050 1200 84 wing 1800 then the 1300 Old man Bike:cool10:

I take it this is really loose? Now , when I loosen the top nut a hair, do I use the screw driver, on the lower nut? and tap it up, or the top down? My reason for the question is: The front end feels sloppy over 65

Years back the Honda dealer in Northern NY, let only the riders he knew, take out a 1984 Aspencade for a day of riding to only club members of the shop. when I got to it, it had 7, 100 miles on it. I took it for a Saturday & returned it on Sunday morning. I bought the demo, after people tried it out for a month. i think it had 16,000 on it when I bought it. 237, 987 miles later. Yep, If I had the funds, I'd buy another one.:mo money:

when I removed the wiring attachment, the black electrical tape was very sticky, which indicated to me, that the wiring was hot. I'm having the stater tested today

I removed the old Harley lights off the back of the bike this afternoon. I installed them last year, and since putting them on, I have had to replace two battery's. Okay this is the question Strip lights are LEDs ( Diamond R's) the Harley lights are 1157 bulbs, I ran them together to the brake lights wiring at the license plate housing. Was that the wrong way to wire them? Did I need a Converter for the LED's?

know the felling, yesterday afternoon on my way home from a lunch ride, Guy in a white van eating a hamburger with his left, swings into my left lane, and I swing into on coming traffic to not get sideswiped. I'm so happy the guy in the 3/4 ton coming at me saw what was going on and swerved to the right not to hit me. I really think the prayer before my ride helped.

The Last rain storm my with & I rode through pulling the trailer, I could not see a thing, (picture this) the wife looking over my right shoulder, telling me I'm in the lane, no where to stop and wind & Rain hammering us from the left. Now I now how the pilots on a B 52 bomber feels. I was watching the gauges, keeping the bike at 45 ( the wife talking to me through the intercom) What the Heck do you use on your windshields, to stop rain from beading? and the inside of the shield from fogging up?

Brake Pad replied to GolfVenture's topic in Watering Hole
1073 miles in 26 1/2 hours, with a 4 hour nap at mid range 887 miles @ 18 hours pulling the trailer, just stopping for gas, ate on the bike @ 72 mph -
I gauge my trailer, by the wideness of my highway pegs. If the pegs pass, so will the trailer
