  1. Now, all we have to do is find you a new Kawasaki touring windshield. (That's not a joke). what a fantastic way to top off a beautiful ride.
  2. she's full of S***. 1st the trailer is covered by the auto its towed by.
  3. If I wasn't in my company truck, I would have bumped a mini van this after noon, driving in the fast lane, chatting on the phone doing 35 in a 50 zone. I sat on his bumper for 3 miles and he never looked back. (It's days like today were I wish I had those train horns on the truck.)

  5. Give the man a piece of pie, and leave him alone
  6. The wife did this on one of our road trips. the group said 15 minutes, to pottie & food. wife came out and no one was there. I moved the bike and trailer around the corner, and watched from a far. out she comes with 2 soda's in hand, slams them down, and up go the hands on the hips ( That SOB left me here!!!!) so I roll up...... I get off the bike and ask..was that my drink? (where is everyone? ....Baby they left us here), so we caught up to them that evening at the next hotel stop. Now we ride alone a lot...

  10. Two reasons why I bought mine, 1st the wife wanted it, and 2nd, as a Star officer, the shop here in South Florida sold the bikes at cost to there members, I got mine @ 12,998.00 for the 2007
  11. always carry an extra tube of Liquid nail, and after it dries in, squirt it with some windex, tire fixed:confused24:
  12. front tires last, I'm on the 3rd front, but the backs I had the 880 150, (8,000) chucked, 170 (2500) chucked. 190 (i got 12,000 and they started to buckle) the newer back tire is a 180, I have about 7,000 on it right now, and its starting the buckle, ( I just replaced the front so (4) Oh and the tires don't like the rain, real slick, I have to ride at 35 tops

    How Fast?

my tires are speed rated for 87, I've been there once riding solo. But most of the time I tool along at 60-65.
  18. Here in Florida we don't have yearly inspection. so I replaced my safety clip & chains with plastic. I'm not going down again, because of a trailer popping off the ball. (Its not open to discussion)
  19. Eureka Springs, is a nice place to visit. I'm going to miss, that event , But God willing , I'll be in that neck of the woods in Sept.
  20. is that what that is? I never opened mine. ( I don't own cassettes, so I never opened it)
  21. I carry three, stone pavers with me. and place them at the bottom of the tail gate. having longer legs, I can still walk the bike up the ramp. (2nd gen). I found the trailer was to steep.
  22. each battery has a born on date, stamped on a side. I just went through the same thing. I checked all the fuses, found two on the right side cover, to have dark stains but not broken circuit, I replaced them a 15 & a 10, then I found one on the left side of the lowers, a #10 replaced that., checked all the connections, as I was in there. I even pulled the Harley lights off, and rewired the entire back end. I wound up replacing the Battery again. For me it turned out that the New Service Guy, was taking the new battery out of the box, pouring the acid into to it, and elementally, putting it on charge ( wrong answer!!!) a battery should sit for 4 hours, being putting on charge. I had the shop wait a day, before charging. Geez, I'm happy to say no more battery issues.
  23. Yep, that's how I totaled my Goldwing, Fine for years, no issues, Buy those damn, deer alerts, and not two weeks later, Wamp !!!!, took a doe down the left side of the bike, In Willington NY (Lake Placid) She came over the hill, ran into the street and stopped. Dead in front of me.:mo money::mo money:
  24. I don't ride the major highways, as I like to ride mostly at 60-65. so mostly all of my trips are on secondary roads. 55 to 65. I Only do super slabs, if there is no other way around it. Truck, Car, Bike & Bus, always about 60-65. Just don't want to be part of the rat race.:mo money:
  25. Brenda Yohman Frick, I'll mention that to him. Problem is when it's cold, runs like a beast. However when it warms up he loses power and can't get over 50 in 4th. I'm thinking Fuel filter? or maybe water in the tank? (seafoam)
