  1. My Rats ass looks just like your's, So.... its raining here too.
  2. 3:35 am, winds @ 40+ and very heavy down pours. I closed the front hurricane panel on the house when we wen't into tornado warning last night ( I don't think there is any paint left on the front door) winds hammered the front of the house. As I type I can here stuff hitting the panels. ( no work per say today) just clean up phase. going back to:draming:

  4. We're down here in South Florida, strongest winds we had so far was 65 MPH. heavy rains ( we're on the Dirty side of the storm), getting more rain right now. the bands are working there way north, never even closed the shutters, just moved the patio furniture around
  5. Now, all we have to do is find you a new Kawasaki touring windshield. (That's not a joke). what a fantastic way to top off a beautiful ride.

  7. If I wasn't in my company truck, I would have bumped a mini van this after noon, driving in the fast lane, chatting on the phone doing 35 in a 50 zone. I sat on his bumper for 3 miles and he never looked back. (It's days like today were I wish I had those train horns on the truck.)

  10. The wife did this on one of our road trips. the group said 15 minutes, to pottie & food. wife came out and no one was there. I moved the bike and trailer around the corner, and watched from a far. out she comes with 2 soda's in hand, slams them down, and up go the hands on the hips ( That SOB left me here!!!!) so I roll up...... I get off the bike and ask..was that my drink? (where is everyone? ....Baby they left us here), so we caught up to them that evening at the next hotel stop. Now we ride alone a lot...
  11. one blue jay, splat on helmet, One Bat slammed into chest (got to rest area) it was still there, and one deer strike, (She won)

  14. Two reasons why I bought mine, 1st the wife wanted it, and 2nd, as a Star officer, the shop here in South Florida sold the bikes at cost to there members, I got mine @ 12,998.00 for the 2007
  15. always carry an extra tube of Liquid nail, and after it dries in, squirt it with some windex, tire fixed:confused24:
  16. front tires last, I'm on the 3rd front, but the backs I had the 880 150, (8,000) chucked, 170 (2500) chucked. 190 (i got 12,000 and they started to buckle) the newer back tire is a 180, I have about 7,000 on it right now, and its starting the buckle, ( I just replaced the front so (4) Oh and the tires don't like the rain, real slick, I have to ride at 35 tops

  18. I put the same set up on ours, But I changed the flashers to red also, so i can brake & flash at the same time, like in heavy rains

  20. I do the Hub ever year for the Free Masons Riding Club from August 29th-Sept 2nd don't think I'd do it twice, in one summer

    How Fast?

    my tires are speed rated for 87, I've been there once riding solo. But most of the time I tool along at 60-65.
  22. Here in Florida we don't have yearly inspection. so I replaced my safety clip & chains with plastic. I'm not going down again, because of a trailer popping off the ball. (Its not open to discussion)
  23. Eureka Springs, is a nice place to visit. I'm going to miss, that event , But God willing , I'll be in that neck of the woods in Sept.
  24. is that what that is? I never opened mine. ( I don't own cassettes, so I never opened it)
  25. I carry three, stone pavers with me. and place them at the bottom of the tail gate. having longer legs, I can still walk the bike up the ramp. (2nd gen). I found the trailer was to steep.
