    the bike shop has checked everything electrical on the bike. and I mean everything !!! small amount of amps, when sitting.04 (Clock, odometer) volts showing 12.8 to 13.2 at Idle, no major drainage anywhere. Oh and this is the 5th battery replacement.

    I installed a new battery, about three weeks ago, but I never rode it, It just sat in the garage, this whole time. I rode it Sunday, Put about 120 miles on it. on the way home, (about 6 miles out) the radio shut off. and the bike finally died, as I made my turn for the house. It rolled to my driveway.

    I think my deal is done. the Honda shop is willing to give me 7500. asa trade in on my Venture. going down on Saturday to talk to them. On a 2012 1800, with 6093 miles on it.

    Dumb question, can you add two larger washers to either side of the sprockets, from keeping it from jumping off?
