  3. go with 1/2 Hardie boards, green boards are a thing of the past. will not mold, it's made for wet weather http://www.hardieboard.com I use the product, for under carports, open air patios, and behind shower tiles and Marble they come in 3X5 sheet & 4X8 sheets

  5. last year I saw a bike out on the fast lane shoulder, didn't really see what type of bike it was, just that there was a guy standing there. so I swing over, real fast and pulled over, rode the bike back up the should at him, to find it was a cop running radar. so I walk up behind him and ask loudly, "IS YOUR BIKE BROKE DOWN?, he turned with the Radar gun in hand, Puzzled(?) where'd you come from?. I just passed you a few seconds ago, and only saw the bike sitting on the side of the road and some one standing there, Who looked desperate. I came back to make sure you were okay or if I could help you. ( He thanked me for stopping, I pulled two ice cold waters from the bike and handed them to him. Told him to stay Hydrated. I thank him for his service ( and not giving me any SH** for back tracking the shoulder) I rode off. Yep, I'll stop for anyone.....That's an understatement !!!!:bowdown:

  7. A lot of old school bikes know if you leave your helmet on the ground in back of your bike , that your in distress or broken down. You will get more people stop for you
  8. I don't care who you ride with. What colors you wear. Nor care about the color of your skin. I'm stopping, and I will not leave you until you and your bike is safely secured. And your belly is full.

  11. the last IR was 4.5 day one way 1720 miles, this one will be 804 miles from door to door ( two up) ( Two Back)

  14. I rode my bike almost 800 miles on a dead shock, for IR, the only thing I found, was the oil got on the brakes, and made it hard to stop ( blow a few intersections ) and the front tire stared to wear funny. get it fixed:clap2:

  18. Guntersville said the Sunday to Friday was open. So I'm booking from Sunday night to Friday. So I can use, Saturday & Sunday to get there
  19. I rode that way on my way up to the IR, Dickson, up 46, to Erin, then up to Dover, then up the Trace into Calvert City. Man what a nice ride.
