  4. I give out most of the pies to HomeOwners, that did over a Thousand dollars of work to their homes. My Company's thank you, for allowing us to do the work. I only have 2 pies for the house. the rest goes to HomeOwners:thumbsup2: :bowdown:
  5. Over the winter months...Ha Ha, This coming from someone that lives in South Florida..... I'm thinking of a dolly system trailer set up, to remove the tongue weight off the bike With the new bike, I can tow up to 480 pounds, (Half the weight of the bike) But was thinking more like 350. I've worked out materials and can build one. just looking at the pro's and con's of this type of set up.
  6. same here, twice a day, but last week, I went on a mission., I got up to Weston Georgia, for my annual Pecan Pie run to the Merritt Pecan company, and picked up 20 pies, a few 5 lb bags of raw pecans, 30 nought rolls and a few boxes of honey roasted pecans and Pecan Brittles, three days on the road, and a total of 1366.9 miles:thumbsup2:

Saturday, Sunday & Monday, I left South Florida, in wind and rain, rode up to Northern Florida, stayed the night at a KOA campground, Saturday morning rode up to Weston Georgia, and loaded the trailer up with 20 Pecan pies, 20 Nought rolls ( pecans) 4 1 Lb honey roasted & 4 Pecan brittle. stopped for lunch at "The Back Porch Restaurant" in Shellman Ga. AWESOME SOUTHERN COOKING !!!!!, rode back road back down to Florida, and back to the KOA Campground, for another nights stay, then 12 hours, of back roads, Back to South Florida 1366.9, for the 3 day ride, temps as low as 43. Pecan pies in the frig, for the holidays...Priceless:mo money:

  10. was tired of waiting for Yamaha to do anything. expected a newer model to come out. Yamaha is going after younger riders, with their 920cc and the stratoliners. I got a leftover 12 gold wing for 20K stage 2. for $22,200 out the door. and 1.99 %
  11. Every Year, I make a pilgrimage to Weston Georgia. to the world Renowned Merritt Pecan Company. This Sunday Morning I will be loading the trailer with boxes of Pies, Pecan brittle, Nougat rolls & Gourmet spreads and chutneys. was just wondering if anyone would like to meet up for lunch in the area. I plan to visit the town of Shellman Georgia for lunch, and visit, a memorial of the Ten Commandments in the town. Just putting it out there.:mo money::mo money::bowdown:

  15. On my 07, the service department told me that my warranty, would not be valid, if I installed, my hitch. ( I told them , they were full of SH#*, they serviced my bike right up to date they received the bike at the shop, ( Not however, my purchase date) the low life scum.
  16. I wish I New. I just had a friend sell a 09, completely new build engine, six pack, repaint, new everything. just sold it, after taking a test ride on a 2012 wing.
  17. well the next one karen will be riding her own bike too. she & I have been running around the neighborhood, and out on rt 27 yesterday., she got the bike up to 55. for a few miles., sh'es becoming a strong rider.

I find, Heat is the reason, for the impairment. coming back from the IR, I was crossing, from bloomington to champaign ILL. it was extremely hot. found myself, losing concentration ( like a quick loss of realty)., afterwards I got off the highway, and found a hotel for the night. needed to cool the body down. a cool shower and a hop in the pool, did the trick. and more sleep:draming: it was the only day I pushed myself to get somewhere. not the longest day in the saddle though.
  19. this cold front plans to make South Florida late Friday Night. I'm looking forward to temps, in the 60's. but once again, a high in the mid 80's today.

  21. I would think, that just refined the 1200 goldwing engine, from the 80's, they produced an awesome engine then. capable of reaching mileages in the 300K range. I was on my way there, when I hit the deer. 237, 891.8 miles:thumbsup2::bowdown:
