Brake Pad replied to DMooch's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
just thinking..... are your holes going to line up now? -
the longer your inseam, the better you are. when I got my venture, I practiced in a parking lot, doing tight turns and circles. figure 8's, then I tryed it in the street, now I can pull my trailer, fully loaded, wiht the wife on the back, and turn the bike around in a 18 ft. circle. I don't know about anyone else, But I throw the bike into the turns, I lay if over like a sports bike. Enjoy

no anwsers, but questions? battery leaked? rust spots? hit by lighting? trailer hitch support hooked up to any part of it? or lower section of fender? bubbling paint around that area of frame? still thinking, I'll have more alot of welders will come to your location, just make sure the paint is removed from that location, and cleaned good. -
why can't the owner take pictures for you and send them????? Miramar, 4 hours south/east of there.

Have the dealer check the bullet board, online. either the rear hub isn't greased, or the whinning your hearing, is the rear shaft, grinding, on the spindle. I have the 07, at 4000. the bike would make that same sound, at 12,300. miles I had the entire rear end changed out, now at 17,000. its starting again. I drop the 90 weight, every 4000. miles and check the magnet, for metal shavings. when then removed the guts the first time I was there. the teeth, on the shaft were, rounded off, and the rest of the teeth, where starting to split. Oh and parts.... There were no parts in the usa for the bike, I had the wait 16 days, for parts to come from japan. Everyone I talk to that has this bike 2007/ now hearing it from 2008 owners, are having some type of problem with there bikes, and if they hav'nt .... they will.....

this was one of the items on the focus group study they want to set it up for both, street rod and options for up right riding, cruising, and tour packages., full stereo, adjustable windsheilds, removable saddlebags, chrome packages, and yes, most people that looked at it, thought there wifes would enjoy riding it. safer, for the lady riders (weather conditions). with or with out colored keyed body covers No options for pulling trailer guys

I pull the bag, drop the oil and sit on the bike upright to get all the oil out. put the bottom bolt back on. now the tricky part. being 6'4" I sit on the bike again BACKWARDS, facing the rear of the bike, I pour the oil in and tighten the bolt back on, they put it back on the side stand. then tighten everything down. I change mine ever 6 thousand miles last change was yesterday, at 18,003 miles, just dirty oil no metal, just grit
