I enjoy the stories, the pictures of trips made, the new people you meet. the how to fix forums. The interests of Motorcycling. Damn, theres more people out there like me. We dream about, traveling this big Country, and into the unknown Rahlm, of Canada (Been there, Loved It) I come home from work, and sit down on the computer,, and its like talking on the phone, to all my freinds. When I can, I visit the Chat room. I enjoy the antics of Mini & Yama Mom (I believe they are the true reason I kept coming back to this site) I've never met them, But there In My Heart I thank Freebird, for the insite to start this Awesome site:thumbsup: And, Man, I love this happy faces:crying::crying: Yes, This is my home, In my home...............

I think this all comes down to carb settings. I'm in South Florida, Flat, flat roads, I only get 135-140, before going to reserve and only 24 miles onreserve, filled up 5.9 gallons This sucks
-
135 miles, then go to reserve, and only 24 miles while pulling my trailer, loaded, two up. Pulling trailer, always carry extra gas. NOW
-
I like to leave mine on reserve. this way I know I have 24 miles, before she gos dry

I have the 2007 Venture, Today I went for a ride, stopped in my driveway to open the garage door, Pulled the bike in, and the fan was running, I shut the bike off for 10 minutes, and turned the key to check, again the fan, was running. In a hour I'll try again, But this never happened before, and I'm worried.

Its hard to ride a bike, with the thought, of expect the unexpected, when I pull my trailer, I stay away from cars riding next to me, I slow down. I always ride the right lane, but move to the center, when coming up on merge lanes. In rain, I get off highways, and ride secondary roads. I'm almost toooo careful. Sure, I've been down 3 times, twice on Ice, and a Deer strike. I know I was going down, but I swerved at the last second, and only caught Her head, down the left side of the bike, I went off the road into a ditch. wild thing about it, when the bike stopped, i was still sitting on it. But I had already lost controll, I was bracing for inpact

Touch up paint that front finder mud flap, it stands out:smile5:

The down side to that is wind drag, the passager, gets all the wind and rain. I'm 6'4", but long in the legs, my wife is 5'0" and sits higher then me on the 07, she always complains about the wind. Yes, Its easyer to get Pads for the seat, then try to raise the seat. You can see here in this picture, she always gets the rain run off, over the windsheild
