  3. the mans in pain and thrashing out, and or Fear, let that blow over. we all go into a protected charge, when we're upset. Just like this wonder place we get to call home. WE are family, we will get through this all together. it may be hard right now, but lower your guards, and help the man. ( regrets will last a life time )
  4. The Masonic Badges don't come with a see through face. the light package is cool, but not applicable here.
  5. What's the diameter ?, I'll pop mine out and add my square and compass in blue
  6. It's like trying to compare apples and oranges. Oil and water, day and night.. It's like comparing a moped to a goldwing. Ride it enjoy the new fell.
  7. With these main aims in mind, the development team has created an all-new powerful state-of-the-art 1,679cc V4 engine, providing 200 PS and 166.8 Nm of torque combined with Yamaha's finest and latest electronic engine control technology such as YCC-I and YCC-T. The team also created an all-new low-profile diamond-type frame, which uses the engine as a stressed member in order to deliver the right balance of rigidity. This makes for excellent straight line stability - together with precise and sharp levels of cornering, all packed in a head-turning and forceful appearance. Do you think Yamaha will step up and bring this to a new frame and maybe be the ground work on the NEW VENTURE? Thoughts people?
  8. yesterday, I looked for him on facebook, the name was pulled, but the guy in the picture looks like the guy from Vero beach. what a scum bag

  11. I went digging: Yamaha is indeed going after the new riders, but not only in the US, But India

  15. For its motorcycle business, Yamaha plans to focus on the lucrative Indian market, aggressively introducing new models such as scooters and other lower-priced models, likely including a new 250cc sport bike previously mentioned by India Yamaha Chief Executive Officer Hiroyuki Suzuki. Yamaha also sees growth in southeast Asian markets, introducing low-cost models using fuel-efficient engines. For developed markets such as North America and Europe, Yamaha says it plans to increase “lifetime customers” by expanding its lineup from entry-level to flagship models. This will likely include new models using Yamaha’s upcoming three-cylinder crossplane engine. The mention of new “entry” models is particularly interesting, as Yamaha remains the last of the Big Four Japanese manufacturers to release a new entry-level model in recent years. if its about keeping the lid on something, yamaha is doing a great job of keeping the big bikes a secrete.
  16. you all know its about our family, Its never been an issue what you showed up on. why should it matter now? I've stayed with this groups for 8 years, I found so many great and wonderful people here. Not even miles can keep me apart. every meet and greet, is like a mini family reunion. To hook up with riders that come to my state ( This house will always be open doors to you.) A Freebird, you can't close it down, I'd have to change all the lettering on my trailer again.
  17. wait, I know this answer.................. I saw it on Jeopardy yesterday!!!!!
  18. Its future was bleak, Yamaha went after the small CC bikes, to make newer riders their key selling point. ( for more the around town riders ). Now would I consider a smaller bike for around town. Yes, But I'd run for the Kawasaki 650 Cross or the Suzuki 750 with hard bags. Endura bikes. ( I total hate riding my Wing in cities ). If Yamaha was to step up to the plate, and go with a 1800 engine from the Roadstar, fuel injected, Built on frame fairing (like Goldwing) an up to date sound system, intercom & CB & UBS ports. large saddle bags & trunk space, and definitely a bigger gas tank with lower center of gravity. I think, and most would agree. (I'd buy one)
  19. Think of it as the barter system, " It will come to you"
