Popping in exhaust on 2007 RSV
Brake Pad replied to Hotrod's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
mine started the same thing after I had the carbs sunk. now I feather the clutch more, and use the brake, to stop the popping, while down shfting. I used to get 125 miles to the tank before sinking the carbs, now I get 150-ish, or better at slower speeds. ( I guess I'll deal with the popping ) -

Created my own Wind Tunnell
Brake Pad replied to distancerider's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Im 6' 4", but tall in the waist up. I have the tall windshield, and nothing hits me at all, (Only drips of rain, in heavy down pours) my trailer is 12 inches wider then my bike, I do get some wind banging, on windy days, or in a heavy cross wind, I just slow down, 5 miles an hour or so. after all. pulling the trailer, your not out there to break speed records. you can see in the last picture, that the trailer is half the size of the bike -

I'm looking into having the motorcycle & trailer pins made, as I can't find anyone that has them anymore. I'm working on prices right now, But I need to know, If anyone would be interested, in buying them. the company is in the process, of showing me a die cast pin. I will post it as soon as I get it. the pin would be two up on a bike, pulling a trailer. 1 inch tall and 2.5 inches long I'm taking 10 pins.
