Tire Pressure Always inflate tires to the correct pressure as indicated in the owner's manual. However Metzeler North America has found the air pressure suggestions listed below will improve mileage and customer satisfaction especially if a emphasis is placed on running the air pressure towards the maximum as stated on the sidewall. Check cold tire pressures frequently. Correct tire pressure is crucial for safe handling. Over inflation may impair ride comfort and reduce the contact patch between the tire and driving surface of the tires. Insufficient air pressure will result in poor handling and cause a tendency for the motorcycle to "wander". In addition, improper and insufficient tire will cause accelerated tire wear, increased fuel consumption, less control and the possibilities for tire failure to due an overload/under inflated operating situation. The massive 8.8 earthquake that struck Chile may have changed the entire Earth's rotation and shortened the length of days on our planet, a NASA scientist said Monday. The quake, the seventh strongest earthquake in recorded history, hit Chile Saturday and should have shortened the length of an Earth day by 1.26 milliseconds, according to research scientist Richard Gross at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif. "Perhaps more impressive is how much the quake shifted Earth's axis," NASA officials said in a Monday update. The computer model used by Gross and his colleagues to determine the effects of the Chile earthquake effect also found that it should have moved Earth's figure axis by about 3 inches (8 cm or 27 milliarcseconds). The Earth's figure axis is not the same as its north-south axis, which it spins around once every day at a speed of about 1,000 mph (1,604 kph). The figure axis is the axis around which the Earth's mass is balanced. It is offset from the Earth's north-south axis by about 33 feet (10 meters). Strong earthquakes have altered Earth's days and its axis in the past. The 9.1 Sumatran earthquake in 2004, which set off a deadly tsunami, should have shortened Earth's days by 6.8 microseconds and shifted its axis by about 2.76 inches (7 cm, or 2.32 milliarcseconds). One Earth day is about 24 hours long. Over the course of a year, the length of a day normally changes gradually by one millisecond. It increases in the winter, when the Earth rotates more slowly, and decreases in the summer, Gross has said in the past. The Chile earthquake was much smaller than the Sumatran temblor, but its effects on the Earth are larger because of its location. Its epicenter was located in the Earth's mid-latitudes rather than near the equator like the Sumatran event. The fault responsible for the 2010 Chile quake also slices through Earth at a steeper angle than the Sumatran quake's fault, NASA scientists said.

way back when, in the early 80's, a german fellow showed up at the american, with a prototype of this bike. and yes the training wheels, retracted, and deployeed at 12 miles per hour. I believe he was an engineer,for areo teck company. later this afternoon, i'll go through may old album, to locate, the bike. i recall it was yellow.

@ 6' 4", on a second Gen. I had the same problem, but I put highway pegs out on the crash bar, and found It holds me in place, no tank ride.

(535 miles) Day 2-5: Perry To Pennyrile forest State park, Ky (Little sturgis)(3 days)(412 miles) Day Six: ride up to Potatoe Creek State Park In Ind.(435 miles) Days 7-10th at the campground (July 13th-16th) Day 11, ride to Erie Pa.(325)(may meet up with EZE in erie pa) Day 12, ride to the falls , then up to Watertown NY area (water way locks)(352) Day 13- short ride to The Blue moutain lake musium Adirondacks (tour)(47) Day 14-Lake champlain area for a few days (14th-18th day on road)(92)(Oil change) Day 19 -20 head south on old route 22, to lake george, and points south to, the NJ & NY line (328) Day 21 (14 th day on road)stopping in Linden NJ) visit with family(45) Day 22 riding rt 9 down to capemay, taking the ferrie into Delaware roadside camping (270) Day 23, riding down into VA, (not sure where) Day 24 (17th day on road) SC or Northern Ga Day 25 stopping at the taskegee airmens musiem Ga. Not nasty, disappointed: we traveled up to Star days in 07, 33 riders, biggest show of any Club.. we did the ride with our boxes, yeppy.... but the dinner, was all about how the managment did. never mentioned, any chapters for raising monies,, no, awards for the clubs. they were patting themselves on the backs, for putting this together. BS!!!!! I think they missed the point!!!!
