My thought was to reverse it a couple times during its lifetime. 4k in one direction and 4 k in the other and so on until it’s worn out. Just to see if there’s more life to be had from some expensive rubber!
Just wondering if anyone has reversed the front tire to make it run the opposite direction to get longer tread life? Kinda like on cars when we rotate tires. It would work only with nondirectional tires.
I’m a fan of Dennis Kirk. I have used Metzler for years and loved them. Not all on this site have the great experience I have. I just bought a pair to replace the 888’s which have almost 16k on them with 2/3’s of those miles 2up. Front was 1 1/2 years old but rear is only 2 months old. Delivery was 2 days from placing the order.
I’m under the assumption that with these LED turn signals that we need high viscosity blinker fluid. Is there a specialty blinker fluid that’s recommended for motorcycles?
I was trying to load the RSV service manual and every time it begins to load, the page crashes. What is the fix for this? Not a huge problem but I’m wondering if other members have this issue.
I’m sorry to report that my 2024 riding season has officially ended. I put her on the lift, shut off her fuel, put on the battery tender, and promised her new shoes next season as I tucked her in under her cover and patted her trunk.
And now that has started, get ready for more!
Just remember that not all grandkids are biological or even family! Kids all over need “” mature” people to love on them!!
It is quiet on this site. I am promoting a CanAm for the wife. She is having a tougher time getting on the Venture these days and is thinking she would like riding her own. She had never ridden motorcycles in her life until I got the ‘09 Venture and she began riding with me in 2018. So at 70 years young she is starting a new adventure!
There’s a fellow on this forum that rebuilds the stock shock on an exchange basis. His name escapes me right now but others will supply that for you. My two cents is, if you are satisfied with the stock shock why spend a ton on the aftermarket one?
