    It took me close to a year to get the VA to pay for my hearing aids. I now get the top of the line hearing aids and a check each month for my hearing loss. I went to my local VA assistance office in Pontiac Michigan to get help. They did all the paper work and sent it on to the VA Hospital in Detroit. I have been good to go for the last two years. Find a local VA and have them work for you. 10 years ago I went to the VA Hospital in Detroit and they told me I had loss of hearing but would not do anything for me. Check in your local town Yammer and get the help for free. Good Luck

    If I come on to this sight after being off for awhile the main page is new as it should be. New posts and all. if I click on a post and read it and then go back. It takes me back to old posts days ago. If I hit refresh all is well again untill I read another post and then get out of it the new page is gone and replaced with old posts. What is going on?

    Had surgery on both feet and it took care of it. That was near ten years ago. The shots did not work at all.

    Well Bubber, I have the Gamo Nitro 17. I think it cost me $135. on sale three years ago. it came with a 3-9x40 scope. You break the barrel to cock it and it holds the air pressure for ever. I have worn out two other pellet guns in my life time. This is by far the best I have ever had. The scope is unreal for a pellet gun. It is 1000 fps with the PBA pellets, "the gold ones". You can easily kill squirrels, rabbits, skunks or what ever you please. Spend a little more and you won't be sorry. Let us know what you decided and have fun. The gold pellets are more accurate than your standard lead pellet and kill better. They penetrate deeper.

    If you are only running gloves you should not have a problem. The wife and I both have the heated liner. The arms, back, chest and neck all warm up. We have no problems while crusing above 10 or 15 miles an hr. If we stop at a light the voltage meter drops to red. I turn my set off and all is well and that is with the passing lights still on. We have had them for three years now and the bike has never failed.

    That is a good price as long as they don't over charge for shipping.

    I always do an oil change before storing for winter. I also use Sea Foam and make sure your gas tank is as full as you can get it. That will stop condensation from forming inside your tank. I have never run the carbs dry on my 04. That is what Sea Foam is for. It eats the tarnish and keeps the gas fresh. I never take the battery out. I have a battery tender that I keep plugged in all winter. I never start the bike in the winter and just let it run for awhile. That will cause more condensation in the engine because you can't burn it out. Some guys put rags in the end of the exhaust to keep the mice out. I am sure you will get more ideas from others on do's and don'ts.

    Thanks for the heads up at J&P Joe. They would be riding a Electric Rasor Bike for kids that I picked up and then I would like to take them for a ride on my DRZ-400. They are to small for the Venture right now.
