    Just an update for those that want to meet at exit 15 off I-75 in Monroe Mich. tomorrow "Friday" morning. Meet and eat @ 11:00 Gas up and leave @ 12:00 Stop for bathroom break along the way. Stop by Comfort Inn Stop by Oberlin Inn Go to FreeBirds after check in. Rain or shine I will be there. Let's hope shine. See you all real soon.

    Tough times for you emotionally Dave, but many good things can come from what seems to be the lowest point in your life. Hang tough and I will say a prayer for you and Jamie. Thanks for asking for those prayers.

    I just take I-75 down. It is usually not to busy at that time of day. I will leave my house at 9:30 a.m. It takes about 1 and 15 min. to get there.

    The way I have been going is to pick up Hwy.2 and then get on Cleveland Rd./W. Lake Rd. right on the waters of Lake Erie. Who ever is staying at Comfort Inn we can stop there and then go on down to the Oberlin Inn where I am staying. Once again we will plan on leaving Denny's at noon. My cell # is 248-420-8739 in case you are running late or have trouble of any kind.

    I will be heading down Friday morning. From Lake Orion MI. North of Detroit about 45 miles. The last few years we have been meeting up in Monroe Mi. exit 15 off I-75 and eat at Denny's and then head on down to the motels. Some of our Canadian friends meet up with us as well. We fill up with food and gas and that will get us there with no other stops except for a bathroom break at a rest stop. We take the least traveled roads on down. We have done this for the last three years, I think. I know a few won't be making it this year.

    It sure causes some pain in the olé heart. Will say a prayer for you.

    Educate me. What will burn up the motor? Seafoam says on the can to use in small (2-cycle or 4-cycle) engines and then tells what it does for the engine. All positive. I have used it in my outboard motor and chain saws for years. In fact the local outboard motor repair shop in my area uses it to run the engines before sending them back to the owner.

    I put in half a can in motorcycle and I put a full can in my truck. I grew up in Pontiac MI. and went into the Air Force in 1967 -1971. Bought a place in Lake Orion and been here ever sence.

    I had Seafoam mixed in with the gas and oil but still had to run it with the choke as you. That's when I decided to drain it and just use Seafoam and let it sit. I did install a new plug after I got the carb cleaned out.

    The sale goes till the 30th of this month @ $6.40 a can. As far as putting in your oil before oil change. I have done this in the past and only ran it for 20 miles before changing. The reason is that it will clog the filter with all the cleaning it does and then the oil bypasses the filter and will do more harm than good.

    I was going to buy a new Weed Whacker but decided to work on the old one. It wouldn't run except with full choke. I drained the fuel and just put in Seafoam and cranked it a few times and let it sit for 24 hours. Drained the Seafoam put in fresh gas and it started up and ran just like it was suppose to. It even idled and didn't stall until I shut it off. Great stuff that Seafoam.

    I had a 1999 1400 Intruder for about 2 years. I bought it used. The wife and I would head up north here in Michigan for a weekend ride. After 100 miles I couldn't wait to stop at a stop light so I could stand up and ease the butt pain. I put on a new seat but couldn't get the miles in a day that I wanted to ride. The wife's knees hurt real bad right at the 100 mile mark. In 2004 we bought a new Venture. We can now travel 500 miles a day with ease. No more knee pain for the wife. I have ridden 650 miles by myself without any problems. You will love the comfort compared to the Intruder. I hope the info. will help.

    I have questions. Why is the front wheel not turning except at the very end when he stops? Why is the helmet not moving up and down to the right of the camera when he is hitting all those bumps?

    What are these plugs called? The one the arrows are pointing to. Both of mine are cracked and I need to replace them. Can't find the number on them so I can order some. The plug on the right. Thanks and isn't the weather wonderful here in the state of Michigan. Suppose to be in the 80"s today. [ATTACH]65245[/ATTACH]

    Just thinking:confused07: What about ground from your lights? If you try a ground wire while checking. just thinking.

    When I was remodeling about a year and 1/2 ago. I did not know about the discount until I was about done. When I found out I went back and asked them how far could I go back with my receipts and was told 1 month. You might try that Squid, but you better hurry before they change the H.D. policy in your area.

    This is what our local H.D. did about a year ago to us also. But if you have a disability card from the V.A you can still get it.
