  1. Yep, it's still coming Mike. I hope you had a great day.
  2. Hello Dennis, Another trick to getting a smooth finish is to take the shavings from the bowl that came off while you were turning it down. Hold the shavings in the plam of your hands and run the lathe at a pretty fast RPM and press the shavings againts the part. This is called burnishing. You will love the finish it gives. Good luck and have fun with the new tool.
  3. Got a Buck in bow season. Will try again on Thanksgiving day.
  4. Only 60 ft.
  5. I forgot to tell ya's it is waterproof up tp 60 ft. deep.
  6. I can try, but never posted videos before but, the web has many videos to look at from different folks. Just look up Sports Vue.
  7. Well I ordered a Sports-Vue 360 cam corder for $185.00 and I received it with in a week or less. Nice size little camera. It comes with a remote so I took it hunting with me to capture the BIG BUCK coming in. Played around with it for awhile in the woods strapped to my head and mounted it in the truck for the trip to and from hunting. When I went to watch the great movies I filmed it wound not play them. Disappointed I contacted Sports-Vue on there web sight. I told them what it was doing. The same day I e-mailed Customer Service, Jason contacted me and told me it had a corrupt file on the memory card and I would have to delete that file. You can't do it with the camera so you have to do it on a computer. I told him this will be very annoying out in the field if we are trying to watch a play back as I was trying to do last night. He e-mailed back and said quote,"Try recording a few more videos and see if it does it again. If it does, I can send you out a new camera". Well it did it again and I let him know. This was his reply. Quote, "I'm sorry that the camera is not working. I set up a RMA for the bad camera, I will ship the new one today with a return shipping label. Send back the camera only, keep all of the accessories". And this is exactly what he did. The new camera and all the accessories came in less than a week. This was this past Saturday so I have played with this one for a couple of days. This camera is capable of "Time Recording", set the time to start and stop recording. "Motion Detecting" It will record once it detects motion and you can adjust how long it will record after it detects. It also does "Still Pictures". The videos and still pictures are very sharp. It also records sound if you want it to. I was very impressed with customer support and I am now impressed with the Video Camera. Just passing info on if anyone is interested in a Sport camera.

    Helmet cams

Well today I ordered a Sports-Vue 360HD for $185. on sale. Reg. $265. I have done a lot of looking and reading after getting info from some of you, and other places. It just seems like the right one to get. Time will tell but it has good reviews. I plan on using it for hunting with the grand kids and what ever else comes to mind. I will give my reviews after I get it. They say it has already shipped.

    Helmet cams

Thanks for all the info. I am still looking. It would be nice to relive some truly good rides that we go on. Some day we can look back and show our grandkids some of the roads we road and share our memories with others. Man I had a good time in Hocking Hills Ohio. What a nice place to ride.

That price is better than the Replay. $299. The replay is round and just looks nice and easy to use.

    Helmet cams

Well I finally got the bug to get a helmet cam after visiting Hockings Hills in Ohio for the second time this year. Went down the 11th, 12th and came back on the 13th of this month. What a great place to ride. Took 3 other riders with me this time. Just the guys and no wifes. They all want to do it every year. We road 200 miles in the area before coming back home. Anyway I would like to get a helmet cam. Been looking and reading about the "Replay XD 1080" and "Go Pro HD Hero 2". Anyone have one of these? Any thoughts. Thanks
  15. Hello Larry and Joyce, Christine and I are praying for the two of you. Hope you get better real soon. If you need anything ask.
  16. Yes we did a lot of hiking and I mean a lot. Ash Cave was my favorite. We have been to Holmes County about 6 years ago. Just great riding every where around there.
  17. The wife and I got back Friday after visiting Hocking Hills area. Some real nice riding around there and a lot to get off the bike and see on foot. We left Thursday morning and headed North east and road the scenic ByWays. When the road drops off ahead of you where you can't see it any more until you are on the down side of the hill, can take your breath away. Some great riding in Ohio on the east side. Great roads. We got 850 miles put on our trip. Thanks Ohio.
  18. That is interesting. Two weeks ago on I-75 in the Troy and Madison Heights area. The State boys were riding Blue Kawasaki Concours. The Michigan State Police Color. They had a speed trap going with a helicopter over head. Some were riding H.D.s but most were Kawasaki's. They were on the North and South bound lanes. Must have been close to 10 bikes in all.
  19. Some where down the line I would pray that the two of you would be able to laugh over this. I know it is not the time to laugh now but, maybe later on Fuzz. Sure glad it isn't any worse. This will be a wake up call for all the family on how important it is on how to handle a loaded gun. May The Good Lord see fit for a speedy recovery for your brother and his son.

    Ground Hog Day

I was so ready for the bump, thump, bang, or what ever. I was sure hanging on tight to the handle bars. I was ready as could be for what ever came next.
  21. Tour Master for me 4 season jacket. I also have 1st gear rain jacket and pants.
  22. I rode my bike to work today and then left around 11:00 to make a run to my Heat Treat source. A Ground Hog came out of no where running across the road. I started to hit the brakes and even had my foot on the peddle and decided to hit it straight on without the brakes at all. I braced myself with arms and shoulders tight to keep the front wheel straight after hitting it. My teeth were clinched tight also:smile5:. I waited for the bump and jar but it never happened. I don't know if he went under the bike or right in front of the tire. After it was all over I was just smiling going down the road and then laughing. I can't believe how close that was. Real close.
  23. Tow it to MD next year and we can have "rump roast" caught from the pond. Just a thought.
  24. Got a date with my grandson to go fishing Larry. I will be having fun. He just turned 6. Have a great time.
