Where did you put VentureRider Guardian Bells?
Mariner Fan replied to Mariner Fan's topic in Watering Hole
I'll be around. Too bad you have to work this weekend. -
I've never tried the cone exercise but I have used some of the techniques. I feel a bit rusty too. Was thinking that I have to be extra vigilant.

Ok, I'm thinking of putting a brace on my front engine guard. That would be a great place to put the bell on. -
Need back half of Saddlebag 1984

Man, that sucks. Good luck on your hunt. -
It's finally nice enough to ride here in Indiana. I'll be meeting up with Bummer so that we can buddy up and exchange guardian bells. So......I was thinking about where I should put my bell. I've heard you should mount it low to scare away those nasty road gremlins. Care to share where you mounted your bell on your bike? Pictures are always welcome. Bob

Nice looking hat. Will it fit someone with a gigantic "bucket head"?

That's funny, my wife works in the same area. Be glad to ride on over if your in the neighborhood. Here's another thought for this Summer. I'll gather up some biker buds and travel down South. We can meet up in Seymour and head to Story and Nashville. I did that last year and had a great time. It's supposed to be nice this weekend so I'll probably just point the scoot somewhere and see what I can find. Bob

Dang Curt! I'm thinking of riding down to Kentucky just to see all the stuff that you have done to your scoot.

I was thinking about the owner of the bike waking up after a bender wondering where his bike was.
-
Man, those look good! Curt, looks like you need to get a license plate on that bike!
-
My thoughts too. Why the bigger engine?

Geez, the kid just attended a funeral for his friend who was killed on his bike doing crazy speeds. Guess he wasn't smart enough to learn from that. A definite Darwin award candidate!

No problem. I'm not going to order it until I get back from vacation. Don't want it sitting on my porch while I'm gone.

Here is a question that I can't seem to find the answer to. Does using the XM, MP3, or bluetooth disable the GPS function?
-
WilCruise, that's a big project you have there! I doubt anyone would bust your chops for selling down some of your stuff. Heck, you need to save some time to ride!

Well Pete, you live in an area that would be great for camping. BTW, I lived in Wendover during my high school days. Most people don't know that you can't drive on the Salt Flats except in the summer. I think the tow truck drivers in Wendover made a killing pulling people off the salt after their cars sunk in the mud......

Ebay Saddle Bag Crash rails

Since these are not OEM I wonder if they line up right without having to re-drill? -

I've been thinking of getting a set too. Curt, did you read about the fact that they do not line up correctly? Not a hard fix but you do have to drill a new hole. Bob -
Geez, I know better than this! I pulled into my driveway after a nice ride on Saturday. For some reason, I had a brain fart and tried to do a u-turn at 1 mph so that I could back the bike into the garage. Well, I thought I could do this without putting my foot down so I ended up dropping the bike. At least I was able to practice the maneuver for picking up your bike from Ride Like a Pro! Good news is that nothing was damaged.......well, except my pride!

Cool! Must be exciting as heck to get a new bike. I'm sure she's a pretty one at that. Can't wait to see the picture and better yet, will get to see it in person when we have a meet and eat. Congratulations.. Bob
