Paperboy, I'm waiting for my links and should see them in the next couple of days. It looks easy enough. Just a matter of unbolting and bolting the new ones on. I've heard it only takes a half hour. -
Deer whistles don't work. Feel free to use them and maybe they will work for you. I used to drive Highway 395 between Spokane and Addy Washington. It's truly Deer alley. Every single day I would either see live deer or dead dear or both. So many times I would drive up on the ambulance to a call and find the car or bike had deer whistles but still hit deer. Bad thing is deer aren't smart enough to know how to get out of the way. Good thing are whistles are cheap and them might work once. Worth the money in that case.

Glad you and your wife are ok. Must have been a real shock. When I lived in Washington State and was an EMT; I went to quite a few Deer vs. Motorcycle wrecks. They never were good.

Yea they do Curt. When I said that Rabbit Hash reminded me of Story it's because it's a little nothing place that a lot of motorcyclists go to. Story has a store with a bar underneath. When I was there last, I'd estimate there were thirty bikes there. We can meet up at Seymour and then ride up 135 to Story. It's a windy road and you end up at the State Park. Nice scenery. We should stop for a drink then go up to Nashville. Maybe we can convince some of the Venture Riders to join us! Bob

I really hope this event turns out ok. My daughter surprised us and is getting Married in September. That will use up all the rest of my vacation time this year.

That's my feeling as well. Tested an Ultra and a Wing but found the Venture best suited for my long frame.
